Send your form submissions straight to Telegram — source page and every field. Works with CF7, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Gravity Forms and more.

== Description ==

ABDS Connect forwards leads from your existing forms to a Telegram chat the moment they are submitted — so you never miss an enquiry. It does not add any forms of its own; it listens to the form plugins you already use.

Each message includes the page the lead came from and all of the submitted fields, formatted for quick reading.

**Supported form sources**

* iDance Site Builder
* Contact Form 7
* WPForms
* Fluent Forms
* Gravity Forms

**Self-contained** — it does not modify your theme or other plugins, and stores nothing about your visitors beyond forwarding the lead you already collect.

**Looking for live chat + AI?**
A live website chat widget (with replies straight from Telegram) and an AI assistant trained on your business profile are available in the separate **ABDS Connect Pro** add-on, which requires a licence. The Pro add-on is not part of this free plugin and is distributed separately. Learn more at https://abds-seo.com/#connect.

== External services ==

This plugin connects to the **Telegram Bot API** (https://api.telegram.org) to deliver your form leads to the Telegram chat you configure. A request is sent only when a form on your site is submitted (and, if you use the "Test" button, when you press it). Each request contains the lead data from that submission (the form fields and the source page URL) plus the bot token and chat ID you enter in the settings. No data is sent anywhere until you configure a bot token and chat ID.

Telegram is a third-party service; its use is governed by the Telegram Terms of Service (https://telegram.org/tos) and Privacy Policy (https://telegram.org/privacy).

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Open the **ABDS Connect** menu.
3. In a Telegram chat with @BotFather, create a bot and copy its token; paste it into **Bot token**.
4. Enter the **Chat ID** the leads should be delivered to.
5. Tick the form sources you use, then save.
6. The settings screen shows whether your bot is connected; use **Send test message** to confirm delivery.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does it add a contact form? =
No. It listens to the form plugins you already use and forwards their submissions to Telegram.

= Which forms are supported? =
iDance Site Builder, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Fluent Forms and Gravity Forms.

= How do I get live chat and the AI assistant? =
Those are part of the separate ABDS Connect Pro add-on (licence required); this free plugin covers leads → Telegram only.

= Where is my data stored? =
This free plugin stores no lead data of its own — it forwards each submission to your Telegram and nothing more.

== Screenshots ==

1. The moment a lead lands: the Telegram message ABDS Connect sends for a form submission — the page it came from, the form, and every field, formatted for quick reading.
2. A supported form (here, Contact Form 7) right after a visitor submits it — no changes to its markup or your theme, just the confirmation they already expect.
3. The ABDS Connect settings screen: live bot connection status, the leads → Telegram module (write-only bot token, chat ID, a "Send test message" button), the detected-form-source checklist showing Contact Form 7 as detected, and a preview of what the separate Pro add-on unlocks.

== Changelog ==

= 1.2.2 =
* Confirmed compatibility with WordPress 7.1. No functional changes.

= 1.2.1 =
* Removed a third-party product's internal codename from the detected-form-source label — now just "iDance Site Builder". No change to the integration itself.

= 1.2.0 =
* Redesigned the settings screen: native wp-admin cards in onboarding order (Telegram, detected form sources, licence).
* Live bot connection status (checked against Telegram, cached — not on every page load) instead of a guess from whether a token is saved.
* The bot token field is now write-only, like a password field: it's never echoed back, so it can't be accidentally cleared while editing other settings.
* Replaced the old full-page "Test" button with an inline, AJAX "Send test message" that shows the real result without a page reload.
* First-time setup now walks through creating a bot and finding your Chat ID instead of showing empty fields.

= 1.1.0 =
* Split: the free plugin now covers leads → Telegram only; live chat + AI moved to the separate ABDS Connect Pro add-on.
* Removed the manual "enable Pro" toggle; Pro is unlocked by the Pro add-on and its licence.

= 1.0.0 =
* Initial release: form leads → Telegram (CF7, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Gravity Forms, iDance Site Builder).

== Upgrade Notice ==

= 1.2.0 =
Redesigned settings screen with a live bot connection status and an inline test button. The bot token field is now write-only (never shown back) — re-enter it only if you're changing it.

= 1.1.0 =
Live chat + AI are now a separate ABDS Connect Pro add-on. The free plugin keeps the leads → Telegram feature unchanged.
