Add the Chattrn live chat widget to your WordPress site in a few clicks — no code required.

== Description ==

Chattrn Live Chat connects your WordPress site to your Chattrn account and installs the chat
widget automatically. Once connected, your visitors can start a conversation with your team
directly from your site, and every conversation shows up in your Chattrn inbox alongside your
other channels.

**How it works**

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Go to Settings → Chattrn and log in with your Chattrn account email and password.
3. Choose which Chattrn project you want to connect this site to.
4. That's it — the widget is live on your site immediately.

**What data is shared**

Once connected, this plugin loads the Chattrn chat widget script from `asset.chattrn.com` on
every page of your site (unless you exclude specific pages in the plugin settings). The widget
itself handles visitor chat interactions directly with Chattrn's servers — this plugin's own
role is limited to authenticating your account once and keeping the connection active. See
Chattrn's privacy policy at https://www.chattrn.com/privacy-policy for details on how visitor chat data is
handled.

This plugin does not read, modify, or sync any WooCommerce, order, or customer data from your
site.

== Installation ==

1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New.
2. Search for "Chattrn".
3. Click Install Now, then Activate.
4. Go to Settings → Chattrn and log in with your Chattrn account to connect your site.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need a Chattrn account? =

Yes. Sign up at https://www.chattrn.com if you don't already have one.

= Does this work with WooCommerce? =

The widget will work on any WordPress site, including WooCommerce stores, but this version does
not sync cart, order, or product data with Chattrn.

= Can I hide the widget on certain pages? =

Yes — go to Settings → Chattrn and add one URL or path per line to the "Hide the widget on
specific pages" field.

= What happens if I deactivate or delete the plugin? =

Deactivating disconnects the widget from your site. Deleting the plugin also removes all
locally stored settings from your WordPress database.
