Connect your Codecosoft AI account to WordPress and publish your AI chatbot directly on your website.

== Description ==

Codecosoft AI Chatbot connects your WordPress website to the Codecosoft AI service.

The plugin allows administrators to connect an existing Codecosoft AI account or create an account, select a chatbot, configure its appearance, manage supported knowledge sources, review conversations, and publish the chatbot on the WordPress frontend.

The visitor-facing chatbot is provided by the hosted Codecosoft AI widget. When enabled, the plugin loads the widget from the Codecosoft AI service and passes the selected bot's public widget token and display position.

Features include:

* Connect or create a Codecosoft AI account
* Select the chatbot used on the current WordPress website
* Configure bot name, welcome message and primary color
* Configure advanced bot settings when supported by the account plan
* Add web pages as knowledge sources
* Upload PDF and TXT knowledge sources
* Edit and remove knowledge sources
* Review recent chatbot conversations
* View account and usage information
* Enable or disable the chatbot on the frontend
* Select left or right widget positioning

== External Services ==

This plugin relies on the Codecosoft AI service:

https://chatbot.codecosoft.com/

The external service is required for account authentication, chatbot configuration, knowledge source processing, usage information, conversation reports, and the hosted visitor chatbot.

The plugin communicates with the Codecosoft AI service when an administrator performs actions such as registering or logging in, loading account or chatbot information, updating chatbot settings, adding or editing knowledge sources, viewing reports, or enabling the hosted chatbot.

Depending on the action performed, the plugin may send:

* Account email address and password during login or registration
* Company or project name during registration and profile updates
* WordPress website domain
* Selected chatbot token
* Chatbot configuration settings
* URLs submitted as knowledge sources
* PDF or TXT files uploaded as knowledge sources
* Avatar images uploaded for chatbot configuration
* The WordPress site URL as part of the plugin HTTP User-Agent header

Account passwords are used only for authentication requests and are not stored in the WordPress database by this plugin.

When the visitor chatbot is enabled, the frontend loads the hosted widget from:

https://widget.codecosoft.com/loader.js

The selected bot's public widget token and widget position are added to the widget script element. These values allow the Codecosoft AI service to identify the selected chatbot and determine its display position.

Visitors interacting with the chatbot communicate with the Codecosoft AI service through the hosted widget. Conversation data required to provide the chatbot service may therefore be processed by Codecosoft AI.
