Turn any WordPress menu into a multi-column dropdown from Appearance → Menus. Ready-made styles included.

== Description ==

**Come2theweb Multi-Column Menu** lets you create multi-column dropdown menus using the standard WordPress menu screen.

How to set it up:

1. Go to **Appearance → Menus**
2. Open a top-level menu item and enable the multi-column option
3. Add child items — each child becomes a column
4. Add links under each column
5. Choose a style preset on the plugin settings page (optional)
6. Save and view your site

1. Upload the `come2theweb-multi-column-menu` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install via Plugins → Add New.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. Go to **Appearance → Menus**.
4. Enable multi-column on a top-level item and structure your columns and links.
5. (Optional) Open **Multi-Column Menu** in the admin menu to choose a style preset.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need a page builder? =
No. Everything is done inside the normal WordPress menu screen.

= Will it work with my theme? =
It works with themes that output a standard WordPress menu. It also works with Elementor and Royal Addons Nav Menu widgets that use native menus. If the default look is not ideal, choose Style 1 or Style 2.

= How do I hide a column title? =
Set the column menu item title to a single dash: `-`

= Can I change the width of the dropdown? =
Yes. Each top-level multi-column item has a width field (default 720px).

= Is there a pro version? =
No. This plugin is free with no locked features.
