Adds a lightweight, floating click-to-chat button to your site that opens a WhatsApp conversation with your number.

== Description ==

CWH Quick Chat Button adds a small, semi-transparent chat button to your site. When a visitor clicks it, WhatsApp opens with your number and an optional pre-filled message already in place, using the standard `https://wa.me/` click-to-chat link.

This plugin is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with WhatsApp Inc. or Meta Platforms, Inc.

**Features**

* Set your WhatsApp country code and number from Settings.
* Set a predefined message that is pre-filled for the visitor.
* Choose one of six button positions: footer left, footer right, header left, header right, middle left, middle right.
* Automatic floating button, a `[wa_chat_button]` shortcode, and a widget.
* A "Settings" quick link on the Plugins list page.
* No JavaScript, no external requests, one tiny stylesheet.
* Clean, single-purpose codebase, easy to extend.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= The button isn't showing on my site =
Make sure you've entered a phone number and "Show floating button" is checked.

= Can I place the button manually? =
Yes — turn off "Show floating button" and use the `[wa_chat_button]` shortcode, or add the widget to a widget area.

= Does this add any JavaScript to my site? =
No. It's a plain link styled with a small CSS file - no added JavaScript, no extra HTTP requests beyond one stylesheet.

= Will this slow down my site? =

The plugin loads one small CSS file and prints one link element; there is no database-heavy logic on the front end, so the performance impact is negligible.
