DawsonyWeb Media Library: source and development
================================================

This package contains the complete editable source used by the plugin.
There is no compiled or minified JavaScript or CSS and no build step.
No private repository, npm install or Node.js build is needed.

Source files
------------
* assets/library.js: browser workspace, REST requests, dialogs and image preview.
* assets/media-bridge.js: folder filter in the standard WordPress media dialog.
* assets/library.css: workspace, image editor and responsive styles.
* dawsonyweb-media-library.php: WordPress plugin bootstrap and hook registration.
* includes/*.php: permissions, REST routes, folders, metadata and image operations.
* assets/logo.svg: bundled logo.
* languages/dawsonyweb-media-library.pot: translation catalogue.

WordPress enqueues the files in assets/ directly. Edit those files to change
behaviour or appearance. There are no generated counterparts to regenerate.
The SVG path strings in library.js are icon geometry, not executable code.

Dependencies and licensing
--------------------------
Plugin code uses GPL-2.0-or-later (LICENSE.txt). No third-party browser library,
icon runtime, vendor bundle or remotely hosted script is included.
wp.i18n and the WordPress media APIs are provided by WordPress through the
script dependencies declared in includes/Admin.php.

Optional syntax checks
----------------------
With Node.js installed:
  node --check assets/library.js
  node --check assets/media-bridge.js
With PHP 8.0 or later installed:
  php -l dawsonyweb-media-library.php
  php -l includes/Admin.php
  php -l includes/Controller.php
  php -l includes/ImageTools.php
  php -l includes/Library.php

These commands check source syntax. They do not generate distribution files.
Functional testing requires a disposable WordPress site, local image-editor
support and a user with the normal WordPress media permissions.
