Displaying DMCA Badges On Your Site

This section of the settings page lets you choose where you want your badge displayed. At the minimum, a DMCA Badge should appear in the footer of every page served up by your website. This is most easily accomplished by configuring a widget to display the badge in the footer.

If you want your badge to be displayed in content areas, simply check the appropriate boxes in the form. You can automatically display badges in pages that show a single post, in archive pages, in posts only, etc.

If you leave all the boxes unchecked, you will need to manually embed the code displayed next to your choice of DMCA Badges for a badge to be displayed on your site.

An inline frame of applicable DMCA Badges (not shown here) will enable you to choose the badge you feel most closely coordinates with your site's theme. When you click on a badge, it will be shown along with the appropriate embed code for manually placing a badge.

Once you click the Save Changes button, your WordPress site will display your choice of DMCA Badge in the location(s) you have selected.

Using the DMCA Badge Widget

At a minimum. your WordPress site needs to display your DMCA Badge on every page. You can easily place your choice of badge into any widget area your theme provides using the DMCA Badge Widget.

To use the widget, expand the Dashboard's Appearance menu and click on Widgets. Open any widget area your theme provides, and drag the DMCA Badge Widget into that widget area. There are no settings to save since the widget uses the Settings Page entries to determine which badge to display. Your badge is automatically displayed in the sidebar area of your choice. The widget display can be in addition to any post or page settings you checked in the Theme Integration section of the Settings Page.
