Free accessibility display controls for visitors, with optional guided audits and automatic corrections from your WordPress dashboard.

== Description ==
Give visitors practical display choices, then manage accessibility work from one clear WordPress screen.

= Free visitor controls =
The floating panel lets each visitor adjust text size and line spacing, choose contrast and reading options, highlight links, change alignment, reduce motion and reset their preferences. These choices are stored in the visitor's browser. The panel and a local inventory of public pages work without payment.

= Guided audit, when you need it =
Open Settings > e-iT Accessibility and follow the five steps: select public pages, prepare the request, review the service and price, confirm, then track delivery. The price is shown before checkout. After a paid audit, review the findings and instructions in the Results tab to decide what to change yourself.

= Optional automatic corrections =
If you prefer assisted correction, request a separate site-specific quote from the same workspace. Supported corrections and any remaining items are reported after processing. Eligible follow-up checks are quoted separately. There is no required subscription.

The optional paid work is performed by the e-iT service. Its processing code and credentials are not distributed in this plugin. Automated checks and corrections cover a defined scope; they do not certify WCAG conformance or replace a human accessibility review.

== Installation ==
1. In WordPress, open Plugins > Add New and search for "e-iT Accessibility Tools". Install and activate the plugin.
2. Open Settings > e-iT Accessibility. In Appearance, choose whether to show the free visitor panel and set its position.
3. Visit a public page to try the floating panel. Visitors can change their own display preferences without an account.
4. To request an audit, open Scan, connect your website, select the public pages to inspect and follow the wizard. Connecting does not start a paid scan.
5. Review the exact quote and terms before choosing checkout. Find delivered results and guidance in the Results tab.

== Screenshots ==
1. The free visitor panel offers text, reading, contrast and motion controls.
2. The Scan tab guides administrators through page selection, preparation, price review, confirmation and delivery.
3. The Appearance tab configures the free panel and its optional author credit.

== Privacy ==
The free visitor controls store preferences in the visitor's browser. They do
not send page content to e-iT. When an administrator explicitly connects the
site, its public URL is sent to e-iT to verify ownership. With consent, selected
public URLs and necessary page excerpts are processed by the e-iT service for
the requested assessment. The wizard shows the price and service terms before
checkout. Payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy. See the external-service
details below and the in-plugin terms and privacy
information before purchasing.

== External services ==
The optional paid workflow connects to the e-iT Accessibility service hosted on
Google Cloud at https://eit-accessibility-beta-1082726454528.europe-west3.run.app
The free visitor controls and local page inventory make no service calls.
When an administrator chooses Connect, the plugin sends the site's public home
URL and a temporary ownership challenge. After the administrator submits an
inspection request, selected public URLs, site identifiers and consent details
are sent. The service reads those public pages and can process necessary HTML
excerpts, images and public PDF documents to prepare the requested assessment.
It returns scope, quotes, job status, reports and signed repair profiles. When
the administrator submits a recheck, the checked URL and pasted findings are
also sent. No visitor analytics or tracking is performed by this plugin.

For separately approved automatic remediation, the e-iT service can send
necessary excerpts of public content and issue details to the OpenAI API.
The plugin does not call OpenAI directly and does not send visitor preferences.

Payment checkout is hosted by Lemon Squeezy. Only after the administrator
accepts a site-specific quote does the plugin send the accepted quote and
consent details to e-iT and redirect to Lemon Squeezy. Card and billing details
are entered there, not in this plugin.
