Does this require anything else?
Yes — the EntGenAI companion plugin must be installed and active. An AI provider API key is only needed if you want AI-assisted word lists; everything else works without one.
Is there a shortcode?
No. Puzzles are added as real Gutenberg blocks (“Ev Crossword Viewer”, “Ev Word Search Viewer”, “Ev Checkered Force”), not a shortcode.
Can I use the same puzzle on more than one page?
Yes. Every puzzle is saved independently of any page. Add the viewer block on as many pages as you like and pick the same puzzle each time.
Why does my puzzle show a “Puzzles powered by Entreveloper” link?
That link appears on every crossword, word search, and Checkered Force viewer in the free version, linking to the Entreveloper pricing page. Upgrading to Pro removes it automatically.
Is there a paid version?
Yes — EV Puzzles Pro adds scheduled/automated daily puzzles, reader streaks and leaderboards, deeper retention analytics, printable/PDF crossword hints, multi-site licensing for agencies, and removes the credit link. See entreveloper.com/pricing.
My AI-generated word list looks wrong — what do I do?
Edit it directly in the textarea before generating a grid. The AI's output is a starting point meant to be reviewed, not a final answer.
