The reader experience

What your visitors actually see and can do with each puzzle type, once it's published.

Crossword

  • Clicking any numbered cell shows that word's Across and Down hint.
  • Check for mistakes highlights any wrong letters without giving away the answer.
  • View Solution reveals the full answer — a deliberate give-up option, not a hint.

Word search

  • Readers drag across letters (mouse or touch) to select a word in any direction the puzzle allows.
  • The word list is hidden by default behind a Show words / Hide words toggle.
  • Highlight remaining words hints at everything not yet found, without ending the puzzle.
  • Show solution reveals every remaining word and locks further selection — the give-up option.

Checkered Force

  • A start screen lets the reader pick (or accept the default) difficulty before each game.
  • The reader always plays as Red; the AI always plays as Blue.
  • “Play again” after a win or loss returns to the difficulty screen for a fresh game.

About the credit link

Every puzzle viewer on the free version shows a small “Puzzles powered by Entreveloper” link underneath it, pointing to the Entreveloper pricing page. It's the only thing the free version adds to your pages, and it's removed automatically on the Pro version — no setting to toggle either way.
