Show a "what's new" changelog widget on your site: a bell with your latest product updates, emoji reactions and a feedback tab.

== Description ==

[Fizlog](https://fizlog.com) is a simple changelog widget for SaaS products, built for indie makers and small teams. You write updates once in the Fizlog dashboard and your visitors see them in a small "what's new" panel on your site.

This plugin adds the Fizlog widget to every page of your WordPress site — no code editing needed.

* A bell (or megaphone) button with a notification dot when there's something new
* A panel with your latest updates, each tagged New / Improved / Fixed
* Emoji reactions on every update
* Optional feedback tab so visitors can send you ideas
* Light, dark or automatic theme; English or Czech interface
* Floating button, or attach it to any element of your theme (e.g. a menu item)
* `[fizlog_changelog]` shortcode that links to your hosted public changelog page

Fizlog is free for one project. Pro ($0.99/month launch price) adds unlimited projects.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Create a free project at [fizlog.com](https://fizlog.com) and copy its public key (the `data-project` value from the embed snippet).
3. Go to **Settings → Fizlog**, paste the key and pick the theme, language and position.
4. Visit your site — the bell appears in the corner (or inside the element you chose).

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Where do I write the updates? =

In your Fizlog dashboard at fizlog.com. The plugin only displays them.

= Can I place the bell in my menu instead of a floating button? =

Yes. Enter a CSS selector (for example `#menu-item-42`) in the "Attach to element" field and the bell is rendered inside that element.

= How do I link to the full changelog? =

Use the shortcode `[fizlog_changelog text="See what's new"]`. Add `key="..."` to link to a different project.

== External services ==

This plugin loads the Fizlog widget from the Fizlog service, which is needed to display your changelog.

* What is sent and when: once you enter a project key, every front-end page loads the script `https://fizlog.com/widget/widget.js`. The widget then requests your project's published updates from `https://fizlog.com/api/changelog.php`. When a visitor reacts to an update or sends feedback, that reaction or message (and an email address, only if the visitor types one) is sent to fizlog.com. As with any web request, the visitor's IP address and user agent are received by the server.
* Nothing is loaded or sent until you enter a project key in Settings → Fizlog.
* The shortcode only outputs a link to `https://fizlog.com/p.php`.
* Service provider: Fizlog, operated by Lemony Apps — [Terms of Service](https://fizlog.com/legal/terms.php), [Privacy Policy](https://fizlog.com/legal/privacy.php).
