Create and manage custom post types and taxonomies without writing code.

== Description ==

**Flex Content Types** is part of the FLEX plugin suite from **FLEX LLC** (https://flexible.am/). It registers custom post types and taxonomies from a Flex admin UI so you can add portfolios, events, FAQs, and similar content without a snippet plugin.

* Custom post types with labels, supports, archives, REST/Gutenberg, rewrite, and Dashicon menus
* Custom taxonomies (category-style or tags) attached to any post type
* Starter templates for common site types
* Duplicate, enable/disable, and bulk actions
* JSON import/export and PHP code export
* Automatic permalink flush after save
* At a Glance counts on the dashboard
* WP-CLI list and export commands

Admin CSS and JavaScript ship with the plugin. No remote stylesheets, no telemetry, no calls home.

= Privacy =

Flex Content Types does not send data to FLEX or any third-party service. Definitions are stored in the WordPress options table on your site.

= Limitations =

* This is not a custom fields plugin. Use Flex Fields (or similar) for extra meta boxes.
* Changing a slug after save is not supported; duplicate the definition if you need a new key.
* Deleting a definition does not delete posts or terms.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the `flex-content-types` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the zip via **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin**.
2. Activate **Flex Content Types**.
3. Go to **Flex Content Types → Post Types** and add a type or pick a template.
4. Optional: add a taxonomy and attach it to the new type.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Who can manage types? =

Administrators (`manage_options`). After a type is registered, the usual WordPress capabilities apply to its posts.

= Will Gutenberg work? =

Yes, if **Show in REST API / block editor** is on (the default).

= What happens when I disable or delete a type? =

Disable unregisters it but keeps the definition and all content. Delete removes only the definition. Posts and terms stay in the database.

= What happens when I uninstall? =

By default the plugin removes its settings and definitions. It never deletes posts or terms. You can keep definitions in Settings.

= Can I move types to PHP later? =

Yes. Tools → Get PHP copies `register_post_type` / `register_taxonomy` code. Disable or delete the matching definition here so it is not registered twice.
