WooCommerce Setup
WooCommerce support is optional. The plugin does not require WooCommerce and does not load WooCommerce-specific functionality unless WooCommerce is installed, active, and enabled in Flow200 settings.
- Install and activate WooCommerce from the WordPress Plugins screen.
- Activate Flow200 Dynamic QR Code Manager.
- Go to Flow200 in the WordPress admin menu.
- Configure your Flow200 API credentials and choose a default QR group.
- In the WooCommerce section, enable Enable WooCommerce product QR integration.
- Save the settings.
- Edit a WooCommerce product and use the Flow200 panel to create or assign a QR code.
How Product QR Sync Works
- When WooCommerce integration is disabled, normal post, page, and custom post type QR behavior continues unchanged.
- When WooCommerce integration is enabled, WooCommerce products are handled through the WooCommerce integration instead of the generic post type handler.
- If permalink sync is enabled for a product, the assigned Flow200 QR destination is updated when the product permalink changes.
- If WooCommerce is deactivated later, Flow200 settings and saved QR code associations remain stored.
Security and Data Handling
- API credentials are entered in WordPress admin and used server-side only.
- No secret credentials are embedded in JavaScript.
- The plugin uses the WordPress HTTP API for outbound requests.
- If Flow200 is temporarily unavailable, WordPress remains operational and previously saved QR code metadata stays in the post.
