# Third-party licenses

Focalio is distributed under the [GNU General Public License v2 or later](https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html).
It bundles the following third-party libraries at build time. Each is used and redistributed
under its own upstream license. Full license texts ship inside `vendor/` in the packaged ZIP.

## Runtime dependencies (Composer)

| Package | Upstream | License |
|---|---|---|
| `league/glide` | https://glide.thephpleague.com/ | MIT |
| `intervention/image` | https://image.intervention.io/ | MIT |
| `intervention/gif` | https://github.com/Intervention/gif | MIT |
| `league/flysystem` | https://flysystem.thephpleague.com/ | MIT |
| `league/flysystem-local` | https://flysystem.thephpleague.com/ | MIT |
| `league/mime-type-detection` | https://github.com/thephpleague/mime-type-detection | MIT |
| `psr/http-message` | https://www.php-fig.org/psr/psr-7/ | MIT |

The plugin uses [League Glide](https://glide.thephpleague.com/) as its image-processing
core. Glide is © Jonathan Reinink and contributors, released under the MIT License. The
upstream copyright notice and permission notice are preserved verbatim in
`vendor/league/glide/LICENSE`.

## Bundled SDK

| Component | Upstream | License |
|---|---|---|
| `freemius/wordpress-sdk` | https://github.com/Freemius/wordpress-sdk | GPL-3.0-only |

The Freemius SDK is licensed under GPL v3. Because Focalio declares GPL-2.0-or-later, the
"or later" clause allows redistribution as a combined GPL-3.0-or-later work. The upstream
license text is preserved in `vendor/freemius/wordpress-sdk/LICENSE.txt`.

## MIT permission notice

The MIT license permits use, copy, modification, merger, publication, distribution,
sub-licensing, and sale of the software, subject to the copyright and permission notices
being retained. Those notices live in each dependency's own `LICENSE` file inside `vendor/`.

If a rebuild strips the `vendor/` directory, run `composer install --no-dev
--optimize-autoloader` to restore it before packaging.
