Islam Practice Prayer Schedule displays a WordPress prayer-times widget with countdown, default location, optional visitor location verification, automatic calculation method selection, shortcode, and Gutenberg block support.
Use this shortcode anywhere shortcodes are supported:
[islampractice_prayer_schedule]
Example with location overrides:
[islampractice_prayer_schedule location="Dhaka" country="BD" latitude="23.8103" longitude="90.4125" auto_method="1"]
The plugin works with Elementor through the Elementor Shortcode widget.
The widget loads the administrator-selected default location first. Browser geolocation is requested only when a visitor clicks the location button and accepts the browser permission prompt.
Prayer times are requested from the AlAdhan API over HTTPS using latitude, longitude, calculation method, and Asr school. As with any external web request, the API provider may receive normal technical request data such as IP address, request time, and browser user agent.
The plugin does not store visitor coordinates in the WordPress database by default. Prayer-time responses may be cached in the visitor browser for the configured cache duration. Site owners should mention this external API and optional location use in their own privacy policy where required.
