Record label & artist website: artist pages, release pages with tracklists, upcoming-release countdowns. No code needed.

== Description ==

Labelfront turns WordPress into a dark, modern website for a record label, a band or a solo music project. You add artists and releases by filling in simple forms; the homepage, artist pages and release pages build themselves.

**What you get**

* A homepage with a banner, artist cards and the next upcoming releases
* A page for every artist: image, bio, tagline, genre tags, listening links and every release
* A page for every release: cover (click to see it large), date, description, tracklist with track lengths, and Spotify, YouTube or any other listening links
* A releases page with "Coming soon" and "Out now" sections and a filter per artist
* Release dates that work for you: before the date the site says "Out [date]", from the day itself "Released". Releases far in the future stay hidden until they get closer (you choose how many months ahead)
* Optional personas: give an artist a character, backstory and fun facts
* About and Contact pages, with your email shown in a way that is harder for spam bots to collect
* An accent colour per artist that carries through buttons, titles and placeholder covers
* Works with any theme, and loads no outside services: the font is included with the plugin

Two example artists with example releases are created when you activate the plugin, so you can see everything working straight away. A step-by-step guide is built in under **Labelfront → Getting started**.

== Installation ==

1. Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin, search for "Labelfront", click Install Now and Activate. (Or upload the zip under Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.)
2. Visit your site: it is already live with example content.
3. Go to Labelfront → Getting started and follow the guide to add your own artists and releases.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does it work with my theme? =
Yes. On its own pages Labelfront replaces the theme's styling with its own design, so the result looks the same with any theme.

= A release page says "not found" =
Go to Settings → Permalinks and click Save Changes once.

= A page is white with my theme's sidebar =
Open it under Pages, set Template to "Labelfront: Page" and click Update.

= Why doesn't a release show up? =
It has no date yet, or its date is further away than the number of months set under Labelfront → Settings.

= Can I delete the example artists? =
Yes. Move Artist One, Artist Two and their four example releases to the Bin once you've added your own.
