WooCommerce distance-sales guidance and PDF order confirmations for merchants operating under the supported Bosnia and Herzegovina legal framework.

== Description ==

**Currently supported market: Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).** Leanmerce Commerce Assistant provides guided setup checks, consumer-information guidance and PDF order confirmations for WooCommerce merchants operating under the supported BiH legal framework. The current ruleset includes jurisdiction-specific guidance for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska and Brčko District where implemented. Legal rulesets for other countries are not included. The plugin helps merchants review and document selected requirements; it does not certify or guarantee legal compliance.

WooCommerce Distance Sales & Order Documentation by Leanmerce.

The Free plugin is useful on its own. It includes:

* a guided setup and BiH-oriented audit;
* a Basic PDF order confirmation for WooCommerce orders;
* attachment of the Basic PDF to a selected existing WooCommerce customer email;
* authenticated customer access to the Basic PDF in My Account;
* privacy-safe diagnostics;
* shared extension contracts used by separate Leanmerce add-ons.

The Basic PDF is an order confirmation only. It is not a distance-sales contract, fiscal receipt, compliance certificate, or proof that a store complies with applicable law.

A separate Pro BiH add-on may add production contract/evidence workflows. The Pro add-on is distributed separately and is not bundled, hidden, or license-locked inside this Free plugin.

= Privacy =

The Free plugin does not send telemetry, analytics, merchant data, customer data, or license checks to Leanmerce servers. It does not install executable code from external servers.

Diagnostics exports intentionally exclude customer/merchant PII, document contents, Terms contents, secrets, and license credentials by default.

= Legal note =

The audit and documentation features are technical tools and do not constitute legal advice. Merchants remain responsible for verifying the legal requirements that apply to their business and transactions.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate WooCommerce.
2. Install and activate Leanmerce Commerce Assistant.
3. Open Leanmerce > Commerce Assistant in WordPress Admin, then the internal Setup tab (the Setup label follows the selected plugin admin language).
4. Complete the setup steps and run the audit.
5. Enable the Basic PDF module if you want WooCommerce order confirmations in PDF form.

Existing commerce-assistant and leanmerce-commerce-compliance installations require a separately approved controlled migration; see MIGRATION.txt. This directory is a separate WordPress plugin identity, not an automatic in-place update. Deactivate the previous Free plugin before activating Leanmerce Commerce Assistant. Preserve database and private-document backups. Existing settings, namespaces, tables and integration hooks remain unchanged. Unchanged Pro add-ons require separate compatibility validation before reactivation.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Where are the complete Free source and build tools? =

All human-readable runtime PHP, JavaScript, CSS and catalogue sources are included in this package. The development-only packaging helper is maintained outside the installable plugin and is never executed by WordPress. No compilation, private repository, Composer or Node is required to run the plugin. See BUILD-SOURCE.txt.

= Which language setting changes the customer interface? =

The plugin admin and PDF languages use the included BS/HR/SR/EN catalogues. My Account and generic WordPress messages use the WordPress text domain and customer/site locale, not the plugin admin-language preference. See languages/README.md and the bundled gettext POT for the translation workflow.

= Does the Free plugin stop working without a paid license? =

No. The Free plugin has no paid-license requirement and its Free features remain available without the Pro add-on.

= Is the Basic PDF a legally complete distance-sales contract? =

No. It is a Basic order confirmation only.

= Does the plugin send data to Leanmerce? =

The Free plugin does not send telemetry, analytics, customer data, merchant data, or license checks to Leanmerce servers.

= Does the Free plugin download executable code from Leanmerce? =

No. Free plugin updates are expected to use the normal WordPress.org update mechanism.

= Where can I learn about the separate Pro BiH add-on? =

Learn about the separate Pro BiH add-on from the plugin's contextual Documents setup screen or the author's Leanmerce website. The Pro add-on is a separate plugin and is not bundled in this Free package.
