== Installation ==

= Minimum Requirements =

* PHP 7.4 or greater is required (PHP 8.0 or greater is recommended)
* WordPress 6.9 or greater

= Automatic installation =

Automatic installation is the easiest option -- WordPress will handle the file transfer, and you won’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu, and click “Add New.”

In the search field type “Moreconvert Message Hub” then click “Search Plugins.” Once you’ve found us,  you can view details about it such as the point release, rating, and description. Most importantly of course, you can install it by! Click “Install Now,” and WordPress will take it from there.

= Manual installation =

Manual installation method requires downloading the  Moreconvert Message Hub plugin and uploading it to your web server via your favorite FTP application. = Updating =

Automatic updates should work smoothly, but we still recommend you back up your site.

If you encounter issues with the messages pages after an update, flush the permalinks by going to WordPress > Settings > Permalinks and hitting “Save.” That should return things to normal.

= Sample data =

1. Navigate to MoreConvert Messages → General in your WordPress admin panel.
2. Scroll down to the Test Data box.
3. Press Generate Test Messages – the system will create one test message per active trigger.
4. Review the generated messages.
5. When you are done, press Delete Test Messages to clean up.

- **Notification Page**: View notifications in the WooCommerce My Account area (e.g., `/my-account/moreconvert-messages`) or a custom page.
- **Shortcodes**:
  - Use `[moreconvert_messages per_page="10"]` to display notifications.
  - Use `[moreconvert_messages_counter show_icon="1" counter_position="right"]` to add a counter to menus or widgets.
- **Customization**: Adjust notification types, page styles, and counter settings in the plugin’s admin panel.
