See whether ChatGPT, Perplexity & Google AI can find you. Audit and score your site for SEO, AEO, and GEO — with prioritized fixes.

== Description ==

**Search didn't die. It split into three — and most SEO plugins still look at just one of them.**

MyAuthorityIQ is an AI search visibility command center for WordPress. It audits, scores, and helps you improve your site across all three layers of modern search, from one dashboard:

* **SEO** — traditional search: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, schema, and technical health.
* **AEO** (Answer Engine Optimization) — getting *chosen* for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and Google AI Overviews.
* **GEO** (Generative Engine Optimization) — getting *recommended* inside ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot.

Run one site-wide audit and you get three scores out of 100 — SEO, AEO, and GEO — plus a blended Overall Visibility score and a trend chart as you improve. Then MyAuthorityIQ shows you exactly what's holding each score back, page by page, with a prioritized punch list of fixes.

**Every recommendation answers four questions:** what's wrong, why it matters, how to fix it, and what the fix should look like. No vague scores — real next steps.

= Audit all three layers in one place =

Most SEO plugins focus on traditional search. MyAuthorityIQ adds the two layers AI search runs on — answer engines (AEO) and generative engines (GEO) — and scores them side by side with your SEO, site-wide, with prioritized fixes and client-ready reports.

= Works with Rank Math and Yoast — doesn't replace them =

Keep your SEO plugin. When Rank Math is active, MyAuthorityIQ reads its titles, meta descriptions, and focus keywords and builds on top. It works fully without it, too.

= What's included =

* Full SEO / AEO / GEO and Overall scores, shown as clear gauges
* Every check, across every pillar — including Brand & Entity Authority (Organization schema, sameAs links, About page) and AI-bot crawlability
* Per-page detail with how-to-fix guidance
* A one-click AI Visibility Profile (llms.txt) generator — drafts a curated, AI-readable profile from your real pages and serves it at /llms.txt, with no files to upload
* A visibility report you can brand with your own logo and print or save as PDF
* Your last 3 audits, with a score trend chart
* Change since the last audit on every page, a one-click re-audit for a single page, and CSV export of your results
* Reads pages built with Elementor directly, and tells you plainly when a page could not be read instead of guessing a score

= Privacy =

MyAuthorityIQ runs entirely on your own site. There is no tracking, no account required, and no external calls beyond checking your own URLs (robots.txt, sitemap, llms.txt, and your homepage).

MyAuthorityIQ is a product of ConsultraCloud. SEO gets you found. AEO gets you chosen. GEO gets you recommended.

== Installation ==

1. In your WordPress admin, go to **Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin** and upload the MyAuthorityIQ zip (or search for "MyAuthorityIQ" once listed).
2. Click **Activate**.
3. Open **MyAuthorityIQ → Site Audit** and click **Run Audit**.
4. Review your SEO, AEO, and GEO scores on the **Dashboard**, then work the **Top Opportunities** list.

Requires WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 8.0+.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Will AI search kill my Google traffic? =

No — AI search is additive, not a replacement. People still click. But more and more questions are answered by an AI before anyone clicks, and if you're not in that answer you're invisible for those queries. MyAuthorityIQ helps you show up in both places.

= Do I have to stop using Rank Math or Yoast? =

Not at all. MyAuthorityIQ is built to run alongside them. It reads what they produce and audits the things they don't — whether AI engines can actually see and recommend you.

= What's the difference between AEO and GEO? =

AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is about being *chosen* for direct answers — featured snippets, People Also Ask, AI Overviews. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is about being *recommended* inside ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini. Different mechanics, both audited here.

= What is the "AI Visibility Profile" / llms.txt? =

It's a curated file AI engines look for to learn what your site is about — like a sitemap built for AI. MyAuthorityIQ both detects whether you have one and generates and publishes it for you, served at /llms.txt straight from WordPress — no file uploads.

= Why does a page show "Could not read this page" or 0 words? =

MyAuthorityIQ only scores what it can actually read. It reads Elementor pages with Elementor's own renderer, other pages through WordPress's normal content filters, and as a last resort loads the live page from your own site. A page is marked "Could not read" when none of these returns at least 50 words. Common causes: a page builder other than Elementor that keeps content outside the normal page content, pages imported from another system, pages created or edited through the REST API so that only builder data was saved, or a host (often behind Cloudflare) that intermittently blocks a site from loading its own pages. Unreadable pages are never given a score and are left out of your site scores. Open the page in Site Audit to see what was tried, then click Retry.

= Is there a paid version? =

The plugin here is complete and fully functional on its own — every check, every score, the llms.txt generator, and logo-branded reports are included, with nothing locked or time-limited. ConsultraCloud separately offers an optional Pro add-on (at consultracloud.com) for teams and agencies that want automation on top, such as scheduled audits with email summaries and managed reporting. It is installed separately and is not required.

= Does it work on shared or managed hosting? =

Yes. Audits run in small resumable batches to survive shared-hosting timeouts, and there are no filesystem writes required.

== Changelog ==

= 1.2.0 =
* Fixed: pages built with Elementor (and pages whose stored content is empty or out of date) were scored on empty content when the site could not load its own pages, for example behind Cloudflare. Elementor pages are now read with Elementor's own renderer, with no web request needed.
* New: a page that cannot be read is marked "Could not read this page" with the reason, is never scored, and is left out of site scores. Retry it from the page detail screen.
* Fixed: schema printed by your SEO plugin in the page head, and JSON-LD inside page-builder content, is now found. Page detail lists schema in the content and in the page head separately.
* Fixed: the H1 check no longer warns about the single H1 on templates that do not print a page title (Elementor Canvas / Full Width, "Hide title").
* Fixed: header, footer and menu links (including header/footer sections repeated inside every page) are counted as site links, separately from links in the page content.
* Fixed: suggested FAQ questions use your focus keyword or site name instead of the page title (no more "How much does home cost?").
* Changed: author bio checks run on posts only by default; turn on "Include pages in author checks" in Settings to include pages.
* Fixed: the sitewide checks now run within a time limit, so an audit always finishes and its results appear without reloading.
* New: change since the last audit for every page (for example 62 → 85), shown in the results table and on page detail.
* New: "Re-audit this page" on page detail.
* New: Export CSV of the results table.
* New: page detail shows where the content was read from (Elementor builder, page content or live page) and the word count.

= 1.1.3 =
* Report colours now print reliably even when a cached stylesheet would otherwise strip them. Every coloured badge, pill, tag and score ring carries its colour as a top-priority inline rule, so impact/pillar labels, page-score pills and the score gauges stay in colour in print/PDF exports regardless of browser print settings or edge-cached CSS.

= 1.1.2 =
* Fixed a fatal error on the Report page (a malformed footer line) that could make the report end with a critical-error message and trigger WordPress's "your site has a technical problem" email. The report now renders cleanly end to end.
* Score gauges now render in full colour in print/PDF exports — the ring and number colours are written directly into the SVG so they no longer depend on the cached stylesheet.

= 1.1.1 =
* Reports and dashboards now print in full colour on every browser (colours render as outlined ink, independent of "background graphics" print settings). Assets are versioned by file time so updates always refresh. Fixed a fatal error on admin pages introduced during development.

= 1.1.0 =
* Added 13 new checks: readability (Flesch), visual-media presence, call-to-action presence, related-question (People Also Ask) coverage, type-specific (rich) schema, a duplicate title / meta-description check, heading-hierarchy order, and an E-E-A-T first-hand-experience check, plus sitewide head-hygiene checks for Open Graph, Twitter/X Card, canonical tag, mobile viewport, and declared page language. 48 checks total across SEO, AEO, and GEO. The dashboard, per-page detail, and report now show how many checks each audit runs, and a new Site-wide Checks panel lists every sitewide check and its status. Also: more accurate internal-link detection on page-builder (Elementor) pages, and an optional, dismissable review reminder.
