On-page SEO toolkit: edit search titles and descriptions, add schema, fix image alt text, manage redirects and audit your site.

== Description ==

Naklov SEO gives you the everyday on-page SEO controls WordPress does not ship with, and it works entirely on your own site. **No account, no sign-up and no connection of any kind is required to use any feature in this plugin.**

**What you get after activating**

* A **Naklov SEO** box on every post and page where you set the search-result title, the search-result description, the preferred (canonical) address, index / noindex and follow / nofollow, the title, description and image used when the page is shared on social networks, and page-specific JSON-LD structured data.
* A **site audit** that scans your published content and reports pages with a missing title or description, pages with no main heading or several of them, thin content, images with no alternative text, pages accidentally hidden from search, and titles that are too long for a search result.
* A **redirect manager** for 301, 302, 307 and 308 redirects, so a deleted or moved page still takes visitors somewhere useful.
* A **bulk alt-text tool** that fills in empty alternative text across the media library using readable text derived from the file names.
* **Site-wide structured data** (Organization / LocalBusiness JSON-LD) published on your front page.
* A **change log** of everything the plugin wrote, with one-click revert. A snapshot of the content is taken before each change.
* A **cache cleaner** for the common caching plugins.
* An **image lazy-loading** switch.

**Optional: connect a Naklov account**

If you have a Naklov account you can connect it from the plugin screen. The connection adds an AI-assisted analysis that runs on Naklov servers and cannot be performed inside the plugin. Once connected you see your credit balance in wp-admin, start an analysis without leaving WordPress, watch its progress, and apply the recommendations it returns with a single click. Everything listed above keeps working exactly the same whether you connect or not.

**Works with your existing setup**

If Yoast SEO, Rank Math, SEOPress or All in One SEO is active, Naklov SEO writes to that plugin's own fields, so your scores, previews and sitemaps keep working. If none of them is installed, Naklov SEO outputs the necessary tags itself. Classic editor, block editor and Elementor are all supported.

== External services ==

This plugin can **optionally** connect to the Naklov panel, an external service operated by Naklov. The connection is never required: every feature listed above works without it. Nothing is transmitted on installation, on activation or in the background.

The optional service performs one thing that cannot be done inside the plugin: it analyses your site's content with AI models running on Naklov servers and returns a prioritised list of SEO recommendations. Once connected, you can approve a recommendation in the panel and have this plugin apply it to your site.

The connection is only established when you click "Connect to Naklov". At that moment your browser is sent to https://admin.naklov.com with your site URL, your site name, a return address and a random one-time value, so you can sign in and choose a project. Your site then makes one server-to-server request to https://admin.naklov.com/ajax/plugin_manager/connect_exchange.php to exchange a one-time code for a connection token.

When you start an analysis from the plugin, the result of a local site scan (page titles and addresses, meta tags, heading structure, image alt texts, word counts) is sent to https://admin.naklov.com so the AI models can produce recommendations, and the plugin polls that service for the status and the result. Starting an analysis consumes credits from your Naklov account.

After connecting, the Naklov panel sends authenticated requests to this site. In response to those requests the plugin may return page titles and addresses, page content, meta tags, heading structure, image addresses and alternative texts, category and tag names, word counts, and the SEO plugin, editor, WordPress and PHP versions in use. The plugin never sends visitor data, comments, member or customer records, orders or payment information, and it sets no cookies for visitors. You can end the connection at any time from the plugin screen or from the panel; the token is revoked immediately.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Open **Naklov SEO** in the wp-admin menu.
3. Start using it — run the site audit, add redirects, or open any post and fill in the **Naklov SEO** box.

Connecting a Naklov account is optional and only adds the AI analysis described under "External services".

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need an account to use this plugin? =
No. Every feature of the plugin works on your own site with no account, no key and no connection. An account only adds the optional AI analysis performed on Naklov servers.

= Is any feature locked or limited? =
No. Nothing in this plugin is gated behind a licence, a trial, a quota or a time limit.

= Does it conflict with Yoast or Rank Math? =
No. The plugin detects which SEO plugin is active and writes to that plugin's own fields. If none is active it outputs the tags itself.

= What happens if a change breaks something? =
A snapshot of the content is stored before every change the plugin makes. Open the History tab and click revert on the relevant row.

= Does it work with Elementor? =
Yes. Image and content operations traverse Elementor's own data as well as the classic and block editors.

= Does it slow down my site? =
No extra queries or scripts are added on the visitor-facing side. Work only runs when you start it in wp-admin.

= How do I remove everything? =
Deleting the plugin removes its settings and its change-log table automatically. Meta values written to your posts stay in place so your pages keep their titles and descriptions.

== Changelog ==

= 1.1.0 =
* New: optional contact-interaction measurement. When enabled, the plugin reports clicks on telephone (tel:), e-mail (mailto:) and WhatsApp links, and form submissions, to the analytics tool **already installed on your own site** (gtag or dataLayer).
* The values typed into form fields are never read or transmitted — only the form's id, name and page path.
* No new cookie is set and nothing is sent to Naklov servers by this feature. If no analytics tool is present on the site, the feature does nothing.
* The feature is off by default and can be switched on or off at any time.
