Ready-made WordPress block patterns for affiliate-style review, comparison, and roundup posts. Five curated patterns, no setup required.

== Description ==

NOTALabs Affiliate Article Kit is a focused block pattern collection for people who write product reviews, head-to-head comparisons, and "best X for Y" roundup posts in WordPress.

Every pattern is built to assemble a finished article section — verdict box, pros list, comparison table, FAQ, call-to-action — not to decorate a marketing landing page. The patterns share a single clean visual language so your posts look consistent across a site, without turning your theme upside down.

This free edition includes five patterns:

* **Quick Verdict Box** — lead with the bottom-line verdict and a short summary.
* **Pros List** — clean bulleted list of product strengths.
* **2-Column Comparison Table** — side-by-side comparison of two products.
* **FAQ Section** — question-and-answer block for the end of a post.
* **Basic CTA** — short call-to-action with a button.

= How it works =

After activation, the patterns appear in the block editor's Patterns tab under the **NOTALabs Affiliate Article Kit** category. Click a pattern to insert it. The pattern is just a stack of standard WordPress core blocks (Group, Heading, Paragraph, List, Table, Buttons), so you can edit the text, colours, and layout the same way you edit any other block.

= Built for affiliate writers =

* Designed specifically for review, comparison, and roundup post types
* Uses WordPress core blocks only — no third-party block library dependencies
* Single small stylesheet, scoped with a `naak-` prefix to avoid theme conflicts
* No JavaScript on the front end
* No external connections, no analytics, no phone-home
* Deactivate the plugin and your content keeps rendering — only the visual accents are lost

= Pro version =

A Pro edition with all 24 patterns (Hero Review Intro, Cons, Who-It's-For, Final CTA, 3-Column Comparison Table, Feature Comparison Table, Winner Summary, Best X for Y Intro, Top Picks, Ranking Block, Pick Summary Card, Quick Comparison, Author / Reviewer, Affiliate Disclosure, and more) is available separately on the NOTALabs store:

The Pro plugin is a clean superset of the free plugin. If both are active, the Pro plugin takes precedence and the free plugin steps aside automatically so patterns are registered exactly once.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Is this a theme or a page builder? =

Neither. It is a block pattern plugin. It uses WordPress core blocks under the hood, so it works alongside whatever theme you are already using.

= Will it slow down my site? =

No. The plugin loads one small CSS file (a few KB) and no JavaScript. There is no database overhead.

= What happens to my posts if I deactivate the plugin? =

Published posts keep rendering because the patterns are just core blocks. The text, lists, and tables remain intact. You will lose the small `naak-`-prefixed visual accents until the plugin is reactivated.

= Can I customise the patterns after inserting them? =

Yes. Inserted patterns are just a stack of core blocks. Edit them like any other block content — change the text, colours, buttons, and columns.

= Does this plugin make any external connections? =

No. The plugin does not call any external server, does not load any third-party scripts, and does not collect any data.

= Is there a Pro version? =

Yes — see the link in the Description section above. The Pro edition adds 19 more patterns and four sub-categories in the inserter.
