Connects WordPress and WooCommerce sites to Peikly for signed marketing automation events.

== Description ==

Peikly sends selected WordPress and WooCommerce events to the Peikly SaaS platform so clients can trigger social marketing automation workflows from store and content activity.

This plugin depends on a Peikly account and sends data to the Peikly service configured by the site administrator.

Peikly is the developer of this plugin; it is the official first-party integration for the Peikly platform. Full documentation: https://peikly.com/docs/wordpress-plugin/

== External services ==

This plugin connects to Peikly (https://app.peikly.com), the marketing automation service it is built for. It connects to no other service.

* When you connect the site: Guided Setup opens the Peikly setup wizard (with your site address and admin return address) and exchanges a one-time code for your API token.
* When an enabled event happens (customer, order, cart and checkout, product, or blog post activity, as chosen on the Setup page), and when a delivery is retried or a test event is sent: the event is sent to Peikly. Depending on the event, it can include the customer's ID, email address, name and billing phone number; order number, status, totals and items; cart totals and item count; product details; post title, link, excerpt, categories and the author's name and email address. Every event also includes the site name, site address, a random site ID and the plugin, WordPress and WooCommerce versions.
* When you use the Marketing Channels box on a post or product: the plugin asks Peikly for your available channels, workflows and placeholders, and sends the post's details to render a preview.

== Changelog ==

= 0.2.1 =
Events are now sent in the background, so a slow or unreachable Peikly never delays a visitor's page; the Setup page's test event is still sent immediately. Product views are sent once per product per hour instead of on every view. Abandoned carts are now matched to the shopper's session and billing email: a cart is no longer reported as abandoned when its owner has ordered or emptied it, and an order within 7 days of an abandoned cart is reported as a recovered cart, including when the shopper signs in at checkout. Deleting the plugin now removes all of its data (settings, delivery log, post settings, scheduled tasks and temporary data). Error messages now name Peikly consistently.

= 0.2.0 =
Adds a "Marketing Channels" metabox on Post and Product edit screens: per-channel (Email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest) workflow selection with live, platform-accurate previews and placeholder guidance. Post/Product publish and update events now require an explicit confirmation checkbox before anything is sent — re-saving with the box unchecked no longer triggers any workflow. Adds WooCommerce product publish/update events. Hardens API token storage (no longer falls back to a reversible encoding when OpenSSL is unavailable) and adds method+path-bound request signing for the new endpoints.

= 0.1.2 =
Adds connected-state setup UI, configurable integration tests, request tracking filters, and canonical private ZIP packaging.

= 0.1.0 =
Initial private pilot release.
