Bundled fonts
=============

Digital Menu for Restaurants can render its menu with any of these families
(Settings → Appearance → Fonts). All four are under the SIL Open Font License
1.1 (see OFL.txt), which allows bundling and redistribution inside this GPL
plugin. Nothing is requested from Google Fonts or any CDN — the fonts load
from this folder only.

  * Playfair Display  https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Playfair+Display
  * Lora              https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Lora
  * Poppins           https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Poppins
  * Inter             https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Inter

Required files in this folder
-----------------------------

  playfair-display-latin.woff2   (variable, weight axis)
  lora-latin.woff2               (variable, weight axis)
  inter-latin.woff2              (variable, weight axis)
  poppins-latin-400.woff2        (static, regular)
  poppins-latin-600.woff2        (static, semibold)

The @font-face rules in assets/css/menu.css reference exactly these names.
Playfair, Lora and Inter are variable fonts (one file covers the whole weight
range). Poppins is only published as static instances, so it ships as two cuts.

How to get them
---------------

Fontsource (https://fontsource.org/fonts/<family>, "Download" button):

  playfair-display / lora / inter
    In the zip, webfonts/<family>-latin-wght-normal.woff2
    -> rename to <family>-latin.woff2

  poppins
    In the zip, static/poppins-latin-400-normal.woff2  -> poppins-latin-400.woff2
                static/poppins-latin-600-normal.woff2  -> poppins-latin-600.woff2

Alternative: google-webfonts-helper (https://gwfh.mranftl.com/fonts), charset
"latin". It serves static weights for every family; if you take that route for
the variable ones too, add one @font-face block per weight in menu.css.

A browser only downloads a face when a preset or a manual selection actually
uses that family, so shipping all four costs nothing for the "Theme default"
option.

The "Fine dining" preset uses Playfair Display + Lora; "Bistro" and "Modern"
use Poppins; "Minimal" uses Inter.
