Deploy Pods · Map the planet
Your website is a planet. Pods map it.
Upload a pages CSV, links CSV, or sitemap, or send Pods to your URL. They travel every path on your planet, surface the orphan pages no path reaches, and hand back a letter grade. Pages the Pods cannot reach are pages AI assistants cannot cite.
The Pods couldn't reach that planet.
The relay may be off (check the privacy panel), unreachable, or the target site refused the visit. The site the tool lives on always crawls directly.
Eleven rooms, one console. Structure maps and grades your site. Repairs turns what the crawl found into work you can actually do. Presence keeps your business identical across the 11 directories that matter, field by field. Redirector turns broken pages into structural 301 fixes for every visitor. Schema generates and inspects the markup search engines and AI assistants read. Clients keeps your own site apart from the ones you look after. Calendar puts the findings on dates. Benchmark checks whether the practices that let a site be measured at all are in place. Campaigns builds tagged links so you can tell where a visit came from. Reports turns any of it into something you can print. The Arcade is the eleventh, and it is a game. Switch rooms with the tabs up top, or the More button on a phone, where the bar seats four and the rest are one tap behind it.
Feed the Pods one of three ways. Send them to a URL (works on the site hosting this tool), upload Screaming Frog or SEMrush CSV exports plus your sitemap.xml for the richest data, or paste single-page link captures under Advanced.
The map reads top down. Home sits at level zero, each row below is one more click away. Teal is healthy, amber is a redirect, red is broken. Nodes ringed in amber are orphans, and they sit in the Disconnected band at the bottom: pages that exist with no path in.
The map shows hierarchy; clicks show everything. Only parent-to-child connections are drawn. Tap any node to light up its real inbound and outbound links and open the inspector.
Controls. Drag to pan. Scroll or pinch to zoom. Double tap to zoom in. Drag nodes to rearrange. The solar system toggle puts your home page at the centre, with one ring per click away from it.
The grade weighs orphans heaviest, then broken pages, redirects, and buried pages. Export findings for the full work order as a CSV.
Why orphans matter now. AI assistants answer questions by crawling links and sitemaps. A page no path reaches is invisible to them, and never gets cited in the answer.
Why orphans matter more now. AI assistants answer questions by crawling links and sitemaps. A page no path reaches is invisible to them, so it never gets cited in an AI answer. Fixing structure is how your content stays legible to the systems people ask.
Honest limits. Crawls of other domains travel through the Planet Social relay (a stateless pipe; see the privacy panel to opt out or bring your own). Sites that build their navigation in JavaScript after load will show fewer links; a Screaming Frog export covers those.
Recolor the console chrome and inject your own CSS with the Pods Console Pro add on for WordPress. The health colors on the map stay semantic on purpose, so a broken page always reads the same.
Privacy
Clipboard: write only, on your tap. The only time this tool touches your clipboard is the moment you press a Copy button, to place your own profile text there. It never reads what's on your clipboard.
On-device storage. Your business profile, crawl history, private-page markings, the event names the Analytics panel has recorded, and these settings live in this browser's local storage. They are never uploaded. Moving them to another device uses an encrypted file you export yourself.
Network. The Pods fetch the pages of sites you ask them to crawl. Crawls of other domains route through the Planet Social relay, a stateless pipe that stores nothing and refuses private addresses. Optionally, an anonymous ping counts which features get used (a feature name only: never URLs, profiles, or anything about you).
Nothing else. No camera, no microphone, no location, no notifications, no contacts.
Installed the app? Android and iOS list web-app permissions under the browser, not the app itself: Chrome ▸ Settings ▸ Site settings (or Safari ▸ Settings for websites) is where system-level controls live.
System controls. Refresh reloads the console and keeps all of your data. Restart replays the boot sequence and opens a clean session, keeping your saved data. Purge deletes every trace of the Pods from this browser: business profile, crawl history, private page markings, theme, preferences, and any license unlock on this device (your key can always be entered again).
Connect your site
Link this app to your WordPress site to push your business profile straight into the Pod Console plugin, which turns it into schema. In WordPress open the plugin, go to the Audit Inbox tab, press Generate a key, and paste it below. Requires the Pod Console plugin 2.27 or newer. Stored only on this device.
Or use a WordPress application password
Core's own mechanism, and the better one where it works. Some hosts never pass the Authorization header to WordPress, and then it cannot work at all: every attempt answers as though the password were wrong. Use the key above rather than generating another password.
Security and your responsibility
What we promise, and what we cannot
Planet Social Marketing is an independent developer. Pods is not made, reviewed or endorsed by WordPress, Google or Amazon.
Connecting a site gives this console a key or a password. Those are powerful: anyone who holds one can act as your site. Keep them private, replace any key that leaks, and disconnect sites you no longer use. They stay on this device.
We check every release of our WordPress plugins against WordPress coding and security standards with the official Plugin Check tool, and fix what it finds before we ship. No software is flawless, though, and Pods is provided as is, without warranty.
We are not responsible for the security of your own browser, devices, hosting, accounts or passwords, or for faults in other plugins and services. Keep your browser and your site up to date, use strong passwords and two factor sign in, and connect only services you trust.
