Send-Mails – changelog of the versions before 1.0
(current versions: readme.txt)

= 0.10.2 =
* Overage prices show "incl. 19 % VAT"; the forecast notice uses the actual price instead of a fixed 1 €.
* "Continue at a reduced pace" and "Continue normally" can only be saved after agreeing to the notice; the save button stays disabled until then.

= 0.10.1 =
* Emails without a name of their own (WordPress default "WordPress", e.g. password reset) show the website name.
* Settings: "Sender name" is now "Display name" with a clearer explanation; address and domain fields have the same height.

= 0.10.0 =
* Switch in one click from WP Mail SMTP, FluentSMTP, Post SMTP or Easy WP SMTP: takes over sender address and name (if the domain is verified), deactivates the old plugin (its settings are kept) and turns on sending.

= 0.9.0 =
* Email design: plain-text emails (from WordPress only, or all) get a layout with logo, colour and footer; the original text stays as text part, HTML emails stay unchanged. Off while another template plugin (e.g. WP HTML Mail) is active. Preview in the settings.

= 0.8.0 =
* Sender per source: e.g. WooCommerce from shop@ and forms from info@, each with its own name and reply-to address (verified domains only).
* Turn off single WordPress notifications: new user to the admin, password reset to the admin, successful automatic updates (failed ones are still reported), password and email change confirmations to users.

= 0.7.0 =
* Domain check on the overview: DNS entries of every sender domain with their status (found, missing, different, recommended, not needed) and a copy button.
* Automatic replies (e.g. out of office) no longer count as soft bounces; ones already fetched are removed, so colleagues on holiday are not marked as bounced in newsletter tools.
* Site Health: tests for sending, sender domain and queue, plus a send-mails.de section in the report (without credentials).
* WP-CLI: wp sendmails status, test, abgleich, warteschlange, protokoll and bremse.
* Statistics: first row shows volumes (accepted, handed over, delivered, data volume), second row problems (hard and soft bounces, complaints, rejected).

= 0.6.0 =
* Protection against mass sending: a source sending more than three times its busiest hour of the last 14 days (at least 300 emails per hour, configurable) is held. The overview and an admin notice offer "Send emails", "Send and always trust this source" and "Discard emails". Newsletter tools and test emails are never held.
* Warnings by email: quota at 80 and 100 % (with what happens then), bounce or complaint rate close to the limit, suspended account, emails held, waiting for more than 30 minutes or given up, sender domain no longer verified. Each warning at most once per day (held emails every 6 hours, quota once per month and level).
* Weekly report on Mondays with sent, delivered, bounced and held emails, quota and the most active sources.
* Settings: choose what happens when the quota is used up (stop sending, continue at a reduced pace, continue normally), with cost cap and consent to the overage being charged, as in the customer portal. Needs the API key permission "change behaviour when the quota is used up".
* Trends without emails in the previous period show "previously 0" instead of "new".

= 0.5.0 =
* New page "Email log": every email with recipient, subject, source and delivery status at the recipient (delivered, bounce with reason and server response, complaint), with search, filters and details. The overview shows the most recent emails.
* Test emails and the self-test appear in the log, including the bounce of the bounce test mailbox.
* Settings: how long recipients and subjects are kept (default 30 days, or never) and, optionally, the content for 7 days to send emails again.

= 0.4.19 =
* New: bounces and complaints are also recorded in Icegram Express (Email Subscribers & Newsletters), Noptin and AcyMailing.
* Settings only list the newsletter tools that are active on the website.

= 0.4.18 =
* Key figures in fixed columns (4 x 2, website 5), every tile with a sparkline aligned at the bottom.

= 0.4.17 =
* Tabs Overview / Statistics / Settings at the top of every plugin page; the statistics page uses the same header.

= 0.4.16 =
* Settings no longer show the SMTP fields when the access was set up automatically with the API key; instead the status and a "Set up again" button.

= 0.4.15 =
* Daily charts have a value axis with round steps, grid lines, dates and the unit "emails per day".

= 0.4.14 =
* Settings have their own menu item; the overview links to them.

= 0.4.13 =
* Statistics show recipient domains with bounces and complaints, emails per access (this website marked) and sender addresses, as in the customer portal.

= 0.4.12 =
* Hard bounces can be released from the blocklist once the mailbox exists again (not after 3 bounces, not after a renewed bounce shortly after a release, never for complaints).

= 0.4.11 =
* The column "Triggered by" only appears when the triggering email is known.

= 0.4.10 =
* Blocked addresses show the reason in plain language with the original server response, the plugin that triggered the email and its subject.
* Stylesheet and script carry their version in a separate parameter, so themes that strip "ver" no longer cause outdated files behind a CDN.

= 0.4.9 =
* Blocklist managed from WordPress: block addresses, remove own entries, export bounces and complaints as CSV.
* Statistics on par with the customer portal: sparklines in the key figures, forecast in the quota gauge, base price and overage, rate warnings and current values, period dates.

= 0.4.8 =
* Statistics page shows the blocked addresses (hard bounces, complaints, manual entries) with search; the overview links to it.

= 0.4.7 =
* Each tile on the overview links to the matching statistics.

= 0.4.6 =
* Test email and self-test always go through send-mails.de, even while another mail plugin (e.g. Post SMTP) is still active; before, they could go out via that plugin and still count as successful.

= 0.4.5 =
* The message after clicking “Turn on sending” also links to the other mail plugin.

= 0.4.4 =
* Another mail plugin active: the notice says what to do (deactivate it, then turn on sending) and links to exactly that plugin in the plugin list; shown only once.

= 0.4.3 =
* Automatic setup: the waiting time counts down on the page, which then reloads and checks the login by itself.

= 0.4.2 =
* Quota notices (80 % and 100 %) in the admin area can be dismissed per user for the current month; all other notices disappear once the cause is fixed.

= 0.4.1 =
* English source strings with German translations (de_DE, de_DE_formal), readme for wordpress.org including the external services used.
* Results of the newsletter tool sync are stored as language-neutral codes and translated when displayed.

= 0.4.0 =
* Sending switches between the send-mails.de mail servers: random distribution, immediate failover on outages or temporary rejections.
* Statistics: new “Sending rate” card with limits per second and hour, emails in the last hour and minute, queue at send-mails.de.

= 0.3.0 – 0.3.5 =
* Automatic setup of the SMTP login with the API key, redesigned setup and tools, self-test using the send-mails.de test mailboxes (not counted in statistics).

= 0.1.0 – 0.2.x =
* First versions for send-mails.de customers: sending, local queue, bounce sync with newsletter tools, dashboard and statistics.
