Show reviews from Google, Trustpilot, Facebook and more as blocks, carousels and seals – and invite customers after WooCommerce orders.

== Description ==

Reputify collects your reviews from Google, Trustpilot, Facebook, ProvenExpert, Trusted Shops, Booking.com, Airbnb, Tripadvisor, Etsy and Herold in one place and calculates the Reputify Score. This plugin is the WordPress side of the Reputify service: it shows your reviews on your website and transfers WooCommerce orders for review requests. It needs a Reputify account – the free plan stays free for good, and the plugin never stops working after a trial period.

**Six blocks**

* **Score badge** – compact seal with the Reputify Score, linked to your Reputify profile.
* **Review widget** – average, count and the latest reviews as a list.
* **Carousel** – reviews as a running row.
* **Single review** – one selected review as a quote, for landing pages.
* **Video review** – video with transcript, loaded only after a click.
* **Certificate** – your awarded distinction with year and a link to check it.

All blocks are in the editor under the Reputify category. For the Classic Editor, Elementor, WPBakery, Divi and themes without block support there are shortcodes, and a widget for sidebars and footers. Where the reviews come from is chosen per block: the whole account, one location or one review group.

**Site-wide bars**

A top bar above the navigation and a footer bar at the very bottom – score, stars and number of reviews on every page, switched on in the settings and optionally fixed while scrolling.

**Set up in two steps**

Check the e-mail address, agree – the Reputify account is created without leaving WordPress. Then choose your platform and connect it in Reputify, already signed in; afterwards you are back in WordPress and see your reviews being fetched. Already have an account? Connect it in the Reputify window. No API key to copy, none stored.

**Text on your page, not in a frame**

Review blocks are rendered on your server into the page itself – search engines read them as part of your content. Seals are plain images with a link and work without JavaScript.

**WooCommerce review requests**

Completed orders are transferred to a review survey in your Reputify account; Reputify does the sending, the reminders and the unsubscribe link. The plugin decides which orders are transferred: only with the consent checkbox ticked at checkout (never pre-ticked, never required), not after a refund, optionally not below a minimum basket value. Off by default.

**Privacy**

No cookies, no tracking of your visitors. Delivered from the EU, hosted in Austria and Germany.

== External services ==

This plugin is an interface to the Reputify service (https://reputify.io), operated by Reputify. It connects to it as follows:

* **app.reputify.io** – only after you click a button on the setup page:
  * "Create account and connect": registers this website as an application and creates a Reputify account. Transferred: the e-mail address you entered and the address and name of this website. Nothing is sent before you agreed to the terms and conditions and the terms of use on that screen.
  * "I already have a Reputify account": opens the Reputify consent dialog; afterwards access is issued and renewed.
  * "Open in Reputify" and "Connect Google now": the plugin asks Reputify for a one-time sign-in link (valid two minutes, usable once) and opens it in a new tab, so you land in your project signed in. Nothing is sent besides the requested page.
* **api.reputify.io/v1/platform-types** – on the setup page: the list of supported platforms with name and icon (public, no account data is sent). The icons are loaded from app.reputify.io.
* **api.reputify.io/v1/industries** – on the setup and settings pages: the list of industries with the word widgets use for reviewers (public, no account data is sent). The chosen industry is sent with the account creation, or when you change it in the settings.
* **api.reputify.io** – from the WordPress admin, the block editor and the twice-daily background job: the block catalogue, the figures of your project, setting up embeds for this website and – only with WooCommerce review requests switched on – transferring orders (order number, customer name, e-mail address, purchased products) and fetching their status.
* **cdn.reputify.io** – rendering the blocks. Review blocks are fetched by your server and cached; seals and frame blocks (tab, streams, video players, location picker) are loaded by your visitors' browsers from this host. No cookies are set.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate the plugin.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need a Reputify account? =

Yes – the plugin shows what your Reputify project contains. It is created on the setup screen; the free plan is enough to start.

= Do I have to paste an API key? =

No.

= Will my site get slower? =

No. Blocks are cached on your server and revalidated in the background; seals have a fixed size, so nothing jumps while loading.

= Which shortcodes are there? =

`[reputify_badge]`, `[reputify_widget]`, `[reputify_carousel]`, `[reputify_review id="…"]`, `[reputify_video]`, `[reputify_certificate]`. Attributes: `form` (another form of the block), `loc` or `group` (source), `reviews` (number), `min_rating` (from stars), `product` (SKU or `auto`), `theme` (`light`, `dark`, `auto`), `locale` (`de`, `en`).

= Are review requests by e-mail allowed? =

They count as advertising in parts of the EU. That is why the transfer is off by default and only orders with the consent checkbox ticked are transferred. Whether you may send them is up to you as the shop owner.
