AI chatbot for your site that answers visitor questions, sends quotes and contracts, and gets you paid — from one button.

== Description ==

Add an AI chatbot to your WordPress site that turns visitors into paying clients. It answers "how much and how soon?", collects the job details, sends a quote and contract, and takes payment — automatically, without you replying by hand.

**What you get:**

* An AI chat button (or full-width chat bar) on every page.
* Instant answers to pricing and availability questions.
* Quotes, proposals and contracts generated and sent for you.
* Invoices and online payment to close the deal.
* Every request organized in your Reqme dashboard.

Stop losing leads who message after hours or never hear back. The chatbot works 24/7 and hands you deals that are already answered, signed, and paid.

The plugin connects your site to your Reqme account. Services, AI behaviour, documents, and payments are configured once in the Reqme app — see the FAQ.

== Features ==

* AI chat button or docked chat bar, on every page, 24/7.
* Instant quotes and availability answers to visitor questions.
* Multilingual: chat page and AI replies in the languages you set in the Reqme app.
* Automatic proposals, contracts, and invoices.
* Online payment to close deals from the chat.
* Connect with your Reqme API key, or create an account from the plugin.
* Place the button bottom-left or bottom-right, with optional pulse styling.
* Use the Reqme icon, your site logo, or a custom uploaded button logo.
* Lazy-loads the chat only after a visitor opens it — no page-speed hit.
* Optional page attribution for WordPress-originated requests.
* Reqme Activity page to copy the public request link and jump into requests and AI conversations.

== Screenshots ==

1. A visitor asks "how much, and how soon?" — the AI chatbot answers instantly with a quote and the earliest available date.
2. The Reqme chat open on a live website, ready to answer visitors and start a request.
3. From one conversation: proposal, signed contract, and invoice — generated automatically.
4. See what your assistant actually converts: every pre-sales exchange and which became real requests.
5. Grounded in your business — the AI answers from your customers, catalogue, services, and availability.

== External Service Notice ==

This plugin connects your WordPress site to the Reqme platform (https://reqme.co) through the Reqme API. When the plugin is connected and active, Reqme may receive:

* The API key entered by an administrator.
* Visitor conversation/request data submitted through the embedded Reqme experience.
* Optional page attribution for plugin-originated conversations, including page URL, page title, referrer, UTM parameters, and button placement when enabled by an administrator.

The embedded Reqme experience is loaded only after the visitor opens the request button. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Review:

* Reqme Privacy Policy: https://reqme.co/privacy
* Reqme Terms of Service: https://reqme.co/terms

No visitor conversation data is sent until the plugin is connected and the request button is used.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin ZIP in WordPress Admin > Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. Open the Reqme menu in WordPress admin.
4. Create a Reqme account or connect the plugin with your existing Reqme company API key.
5. Open Settings and choose position, logo mode, custom logo, text, and pulse styling.
6. Open Reqme Activity to copy the public request link and jump into Reqme requests or AI conversations.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= What is Reqme? =

Reqme is an operating workspace for service businesses: capture client requests, let AI collect the right details, prepare proposals and contracts, issue invoices, and move work toward payment. This plugin connects your WordPress site to that request-to-payment workflow.

= Where do I configure services, pricing, and the AI? =

In the Reqme app, not WordPress. Services, request flow, language, documents, AI behaviour, and payments are configured in Reqme so there is one source of truth. The plugin controls only how the chat button appears on your site: account connection, button position, and button branding.

= Can I change the logo inside the chat from WordPress? =

No. The plugin can set the Reqme icon, your WordPress site logo, or a custom uploaded image on the closed website request button. Branding inside the Reqme chat experience is configured in the Reqme app.

= Can the chat and AI answers be in my language? =

Yes. The chat page wording and the AI's replies follow the language settings you configure in the Reqme app, so you can serve visitors in the languages your business needs. Language is managed in Reqme, not in WordPress.

= What attribution is captured? =

Page attribution is disabled by default. If an administrator enables it, conversations started from the WordPress request button may include the page URL, page title, referrer, UTM parameters, and button placement.

= Is my visitors' data sent anywhere before they use the chat? =

No. Nothing is sent until the plugin is connected and a visitor opens and uses the request button. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. See the External Service Notice above.

== Changelog ==

= 1.0.8 =
* Listing refresh: clearer description, updated screenshots, banner, and plugin icon. No functional changes to the plugin.

= 1.0.7 =
* Fixed the chat bar leaving the host page able to scroll sideways after you open and then close the chat on mobile: the widget now clears its scroll-lock cleanly instead of forcing the page overflow to a value that overrode the site's own styles.

= 1.0.6 =
* Fixed the chat bar overflowing the right edge on mobile in dock (chat-bar) mode; the bar now fits within the screen width instead of being pushed off-screen by the scrollbar gutter.

= 1.0.5 =
* Faster chat loading: the plugin now warms the connection to the Reqme service when a page loads, so the request bar and chat open more quickly on the first click.

= 1.0.4 =
* Fixed the "Continue your conversation" prompt being cut off on the chat bar: the bar now measures its own content instead of assuming a fixed height, so it fits longer text and other languages.
* Improved reliability of the chat bar's expand/collapse behaviour on Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
* Internal groundwork for a faster-loading chat bar, disabled by default.

= 1.0.3 =
* Added a "Widget style" control: keep the floating button, or switch to a full-width "chat bar" docked to the bottom of your pages that expands into the chat in place.
* New installs default to the chat bar; existing sites keep the floating button until they opt in.

= 1.0.2 =
* Hardened settings and public request config.
* Added account connection, request button enablement, site-logo mode, custom uploaded button logo, and pulse styling.
* Added Reqme Activity admin page with public request page copy action and request/conversation app handoff links.
* Added lazy loading for the embedded Reqme experience.
* Removed WordPress-owned widget version and button-style controls.
* Security: negative-cache failed session requests, stopped writing options from the public endpoint, and stopped autoloading the settings option that holds the API key.
* Fixed widget status handling so the request button shows reliably.
* Raised the minimum WordPress version to 6.0 and updated compatibility metadata.
