1. Overview

Sajeebit School Attendance is a self-contained WordPress plugin for schools to manage students, classes, sections, daily attendance (manual + QR), reports, and CSV export — without external APIs (no Firebase / SMS / WhatsApp required in the free product).

2. Installation

1. In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
2. Upload the plugin ZIP and click Install Now.
3. Click Activate.
4. Open Sajeebit Attendance in the WordPress admin menu.

3. Quick start

1. Settings — set school name (optional logo).
2. Classes — create classes.
3. Sections — create sections under each class.
4. Students — add students (Student ID, Name, Class required).
5. Attendance — select date + class, mark status, save (or use QR Check-in).
6. Reports — daily / monthly / student history + CSV export.

5. Attendance percentage

Attendance % = Present days / Working days × 100
Working days = distinct dates with attendance records for that student.

6. Security notes

• Admin capability checks (manage_options)
• Nonces on forms and AJAX
• Sanitized input / escaped output
• Prepared SQL via $wpdb->prepare()
• REST routes require administrator capability

7. Uninstall / privacy

By default, data is kept on uninstall. Enable Delete all data on uninstall in Settings → Privacy only if you want tables and settings removed.
