== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Is Smart Forms by Livable Forms free? =

Yes. All included plugin features are available without a license key.

= Does it require an external service? =

No. Forms and entries work locally in WordPress. Email uses WordPress mail unless you optionally configure Resend. Calendly, Google Calendar, reCAPTCHA, and webhook destinations are optional.

= Where are submissions stored? =

Submissions are stored in your WordPress database and displayed in the Livable Forms entry dashboard.

= Can I create more than one form? =

Yes. Each form has its own fields, settings, status, entries, and shortcode.

= Does it work with page builders? =

Yes. Add the generated shortcode to Gutenberg or to a shortcode block in Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, and other page builders.

= Can visitors upload files or photos? =

Yes. File fields can be added to forms. Uploads are stored in the WordPress media/uploads environment and connected to the submission.

= How are email notifications delivered? =

The plugin sends through WordPress mail by default. You can optionally connect Resend. The Integrations screen reports missing configuration and delivery failures instead of silently treating them as successful.

= Will deleting the plugin delete my forms and leads? =

Not by default. Business data is retained unless the purge-on-uninstall option is explicitly enabled. Stored integration credentials and scheduled events are removed during uninstall.

== Privacy ==

Smart Forms by Livable Forms stores submitted form data in the site's WordPress database. Depending on fields created by the administrator, that data may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, project details, and uploaded files.

The plugin does not send submission data to Livable by default. Data is transmitted to an optional external service only when the site administrator configures that integration. Site owners are responsible for providing appropriate privacy notices and obtaining consent for the fields and services they enable.
