Stockkeeper Documentation

Stockkeeper is an inventory and stock management hub for WooCommerce. It lets you view and edit all of your stock from one screen, get alerted before you run out, and keep a complete audit trail of every change.

Requirements

WordPress6.0 or higher
WooCommerce7.0 or higher
PHP7.4 or higher

Installation

  1. Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the Stockkeeper.zip file.
  2. Click Activate.
  3. Ensure WooCommerce is installed and active.
  4. Open the Stockkeeper menu in the WordPress admin sidebar.

On activation Stockkeeper creates its database tables and a default stock location automatically.

Stock Dashboard

The dashboard lists every product and variation with its SKU, status badge and current stock. Use the search box and the status filter (low stock, out of stock, in stock, on backorder, stock-managed only) to narrow the list. Edit a quantity directly in the table and press Save or hit Enter — the change is saved instantly and logged.

Low-Stock Alerts

Stockkeeper scans your catalog on a schedule and emails a digest of products that are low or out of stock. Configure the threshold, recipient and frequency under Stockkeeper → Settings. Alerts are only sent when the at-risk set changes, so you are never spammed.

Audit Log

Every stock change — manual edits, orders, imports — is recorded with the date, product, action, before/after quantities, the user responsible and a reference such as the order number. Filter by action type to investigate discrepancies.

CSV Export

Click Export CSV on the dashboard to download the current stock levels (product ID, SKU, name, status and quantity) for spreadsheets or backups.
