A complete client support and helpdesk portal — a ticketing system with file uploads and support hours tracking in one branded dashboard.

== Description ==

Supportivo turns any WordPress site into a branded customer support and helpdesk portal, built around a complete ticketing system for handling client requests. As soon as it's activated, it creates its own database tables and a first set of frontend pages automatically — no configuration file to edit by hand. A short Setup Wizard then walks you through choosing exactly which modules you need.

**How it works**

Clients log in to their own portal to open a ticket, exchange messages with your team, attach files, and (if you enable it) keep an eye on their remaining support hours. Every reply automatically updates the ticket's status — staff replying marks it "Staff replied," the client replying puts it back to "Open" — so nobody has to manage status by hand. When a ticket is resolved, the client can close it themselves without ever being asked to estimate how long it took; if Support Hours is enabled, that time gets logged by staff afterward instead, and the ticket is flagged until they do.

**Free Features:**
* A simple, ready-to-use ticket form (subject, description, and file attachments) — no setup required
* Secure file attachments, with a "My Files" library so a file can be reused across tickets instead of re-uploading it
* Support Hours tracking (manually log time spent per client), with an option to require remaining hours before a client can open a new ticket
* Automatic email notifications for new tickets, sent to both the client and your team
* A frontend client profile page (company details, VAT number, avatar, password)
* Client self-service ticket closing, with automatic staff follow-up when Support Hours is enabled
* A streamlined Setup Wizard (Welcome → Features → Finish)
* Built-in Greek and English translations

**Premium Features:**
* Business Type templates — pick Developer, Designer, Accountant, or Digital Agency and get ready-made categories and fields for that industry
* Full category-based ticketing — multi-level categories and subcategories, per-category dynamic fields, and an SLA priority set automatically by category (clients never pick it themselves)
* Staff Management — dedicated agent logins so your team can work tickets under their own account, with bulk CSV import/export
* WooCommerce Support Packages — sell support hours as real WooCommerce products (Supportivo can even install WooCommerce for you from inside the wizard), with optional hours-expiry rules
* Custom email templates

== Installation ==

1. From your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New, search for "Supportivo", click Install Now, then Activate. (If you have the premium `.zip`, upload it instead via Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.)
2. Activation creates the plugin's database tables and a first set of client-portal pages automatically — you'll see a one-time admin notice listing them, each with a clickable link.
3. Click **Start Setup** on that notice to launch the Setup Wizard, and choose which modules you need (File Manager, Support Hours, Email Notifications, Profile Page, etc.). You can always change these later from Settings.
4. If you're on Premium and plan to sell support hour packages, either install WooCommerce first or let the wizard's WooCommerce step install and activate it for you.
5. Send the **Login** page link (created automatically) to your first client so they can create an account and submit their first ticket.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this work without WooCommerce? =
Yes. WooCommerce is only used for the Premium feature that lets clients purchase support hour packages as store products — every core ticketing feature works without it.

= Is it compatible with any theme? =
Yes. The client portal pages render independently of your active theme's page templates, so they work with any theme.

= What's the difference between Free and Premium? =
Free gives you a complete, ready-to-use support system out of the box: a simple ticket form, file attachments, manual support hours tracking, email notifications, and a client profile. Premium adds industry-specific Business Type templates, full category-based ticketing with automatic SLA priorities and per-category custom fields, dedicated staff/agent logins with CSV import/export, WooCommerce support-hour packages, and custom email templates.

= Can clients close their own tickets? =
Yes. A client can close their own resolved ticket without ever being asked to estimate how long it took. If Support Hours is enabled, the ticket is flagged for your staff to log the actual time spent afterward, so it's never missed.

= What happens if a client runs out of support hours? =
If you've turned on "Require hours to open a ticket," a client with none left won't see the ticket form — instead they see a message explaining they're out of hours, with a Buy Support Hours button if you sell packages via WooCommerce (Premium), or a note asking them to contact you directly.

= What languages are supported? =
Supportivo ships with Greek and English translations built in, and is fully translation-ready for any other language via standard WordPress `.po`/`.mo` files.
