Connect your WooCommerce store to your Shopify store. Sync products and inventory, and push orders to Shopify automatically.

== Description ==

SyncTec connects WooCommerce stores with Shopify stores, so you can sell on both without copying data by hand. Once connected:

* **Products** — your WooCommerce products are synced with your Shopify store, matched by SKU.
* **Inventory** — stock levels stay in sync between WooCommerce and Shopify.
* **Orders** — orders are pushed to your Shopify store automatically.

This plugin does not run any sync logic itself, and it doesn't host account registration, login, or team joining either — all of that happens on the SyncTec web application. This plugin only sends you there and back, then handles the one thing that must happen locally in WordPress: generating the WooCommerce REST API credentials SyncTec uses to talk to this store. All product, inventory, and order syncing happens on SyncTec's servers.

== Installation ==

1. Upload and activate the plugin (WooCommerce must already be active).
2. Go to **SyncTec** in the wp-admin menu.
3. Click **Continue to SyncTec** — you'll register or log in, and join your team, on the SyncTec web application, then be redirected right back here.
4. Click **Connect WooCommerce** to generate and send this store's API credentials.

== External services ==

This plugin connects this site to SyncTec (https://synctec.io), a separate multistore inventory sync service, so that product, inventory, and order data can be synchronised between this WooCommerce store and the merchant's Shopify store(s). This connection is not optional — it is this plugin's entire purpose — but nothing is sent until the merchant explicitly clicks **Continue to SyncTec** or **Connect WooCommerce** in the SyncTec screen under wp-admin.

What is sent, and when:

* When you click **Continue to SyncTec**, this site's domain and site title are sent to SyncTec's application, so you can register or log in and be redirected back here. [https://app.synctec.io](https://app.synctec.io)
* When you click **Connect WooCommerce**, a WooCommerce REST API consumer key and secret (generated locally by this plugin) are sent to SyncTec's API, so SyncTec's servers can read and write products, inventory, and orders on this store. [https://api.synctec.io](https://api.synctec.io)
* When you click **Disconnect**, or on uninstall, this site notifies SyncTec so it can deregister the connection on its side.

No data is sent automatically in the background, and no data is sent before you take one of the actions above.
