Plan, approve and auto post to Instagram, Facebook and Google from one content calendar – with AI, ChatGPT (MCP) and cookie-free stats.

== Description ==

**tiaki** is social media management for businesses: plan posts in a content calendar, write them with AI, get them approved by your team and publish them automatically on Instagram, Facebook and your Google Business Profile – and now on your WordPress website, too.

This plugin connects WordPress with tiaki in both directions and adds privacy-friendly visitor statistics.

= 1. Manage your WordPress blog from tiaki =

* **Write once, publish everywhere:** the same announcement goes to Instagram and Facebook as a short post and to your website as a full blog article.
* **Schedule posts** for your blog in the same editorial calendar as your social media – with featured image, categories and tags.
* **AI writing:** let tiaki's AI write a blog article from a few keywords or turn an existing social media post into an article.
* **Approval workflow:** send articles to WordPress as a draft first, or publish them directly after approval.
* **Write WordPress articles from ChatGPT or Claude:** tiaki is an MCP server (Model Context Protocol). Ask your AI assistant to draft, plan or publish – tiaki takes care of the rest.

= 2. Auto post new WordPress articles to social media =

* Publish a blog post as usual – tiaki instantly prepares matching posts for **Instagram, Facebook and Google Business Profile** with the right length, tone, hashtags and the article image.
* You check and approve the suggestions in tiaki. **Nothing is published without your approval.**
* **“Share via tiaki”** in the block editor sends any article to tiaki again – perfect for evergreen content and recurring promotions.
* Articles that are unpublished or moved to the trash are withdrawn from open suggestions automatically.

= 3. Visitor statistics without cookies =

* Page views, visitors, most read articles and returning visitors (with consent).
* See where visitors come from: Google Search, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, AI assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity, newsletters and other websites.
* **Measure every social media post:** links shared via tiaki carry a marker, so each post shows exactly how many visitors it brought to your website.
* Dashboard widget and a visitor column in your list of posts.
* Works on its own, even without a tiaki account.

= Everything else tiaki does =

Your WordPress site becomes one channel in a complete social media toolbox:

* **Content calendar / editorial plan** with holidays and occasions for your industry, and new post ideas every night
* **Social media inbox:** comments and messages from all networks in one place
* **Reviews:** ask for Google reviews, get notified and reply to every review
* **Designer** for images and posts in every format with your colours, logos and fonts
* **Link in bio page, short links with QR codes, landing pages with forms**
* **Contacts (small CRM), e-mail with double opt-in, file sharing up to 500 MB**
* **Teams and workspaces** for several locations, brands or clients – with roles and approvals
* **Workflow automation** and an API with webhooks

= Privacy by design =

* No cookies, no IP addresses stored, no data sent to third parties.
* Each visitor is counted once per day using a one-way value built from IP address, browser and language plus a key that changes daily. The key is deleted every day, so visitors cannot be recognised afterwards.
* Only daily totals are stored – in your own WordPress database – and deleted automatically after the period you choose (3 to 25 months).
* Returning visitors are only detected with consent for statistics via the [WP Consent API](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-consent-api/) (supported by Complianz, CookieYes and others). With consent, the browser only remembers the date of the first visit; no identifier is transmitted.
* Optionally count only after consent. Logged-in editors and administrators are not counted.
* A suggested text for your privacy policy is added to Settings → Privacy.
* Made in Germany by INREMA GmbH.

= What tiaki can and cannot do on your site =

tiaki only works with content: it can create, schedule and update articles, upload images and move articles it created to the trash. Everything is assigned to an author you choose (Author or Editor role – administrators cannot be selected). tiaki never logs in as a user and cannot change settings, plugins, themes or users.

= Languages =

Translations are provided via translate.wordpress.org – German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Polish and Turkish are prepared by the authors.

== External services ==

This plugin connects to **tiaki**, a service of INREMA GmbH, Germany – but only after you actively connect your site under tiaki → Connection & settings. Before that, nothing is sent anywhere.

After connecting:

* **app.tiaki.de** – when you click “Connect with tiaki”, your browser is redirected there to approve the connection. Sent: your site address, site name, plugin version and a one-time security value.
* **api.tiaki.de** – the plugin exchanges a one-time code for a connection key, and afterwards sends a signed message when an article is published, scheduled, updated or withdrawn, or when you click “Share via tiaki”. Sent: title, text, excerpt, link, featured image address, categories, tags, author display name and publication date of that article. When you disconnect, tiaki is informed.
* tiaki calls this site's REST API (namespace `tiaki/v1`, every request signed with the connection key and a one-time value) to create, schedule and update articles, upload images and move articles it created to the trash, to list published articles and to read the daily visitor totals. These are content actions only, assigned to the non-administrator author you choose; tiaki cannot change settings, plugins, themes or users. **Data about individual visitors is never transmitted.**
* Images for articles are only downloaded from tiaki's own addresses (app.tiaki.de, api.tiaki.de, tiaki.me, tiaki.de).

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Which social networks does tiaki post to? =

Instagram, Facebook and Google Business Profile – and your WordPress website with this plugin. The statistics recognise visitors from many more sources (LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, AI assistants and more).

= Can I schedule WordPress posts from tiaki? =

Yes. Choose a date and time in tiaki's calendar; the article is scheduled in WordPress and goes live automatically – with image, categories and tags.

= Are new WordPress posts published to Instagram automatically? =

tiaki prepares the posts automatically, but you decide: every suggestion waits for your approval in tiaki.

= Can I use ChatGPT or Claude to write and publish blog posts? =

Yes. tiaki works as an MCP server, so AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol can draft and plan posts and articles in your tiaki workspace. Publishing directly from the AI is off by default and can be enabled with two-factor authentication.

= Do I need a tiaki account? =

The visitor statistics work without an account. Publishing from tiaki and post suggestions for social media require a tiaki account.

= Do I need a cookie banner for the statistics? =

The counter sets no cookies and stores nothing on the visitor's device unless the visitor has consented to statistics (for returning visitors). If you prefer, choose “Only after consent for statistics” in the settings. Please check the legal requirements for your website with your data protection officer.

= Does it work with caching plugins? =

Yes. Counting happens with a tiny script after the page has loaded, so cached pages are counted correctly.

= Will the plugin slow down my site? =

No. The counting script is about 2 KB, loads deferred in the footer and sends one small request per page view. Messages to tiaki are sent in the background.

= What happens when I deactivate or delete the plugin? =

Deactivating keeps your statistics. Deleting the plugin removes all its tables and settings.

= Can tiaki delete my articles? =

tiaki can only move articles it created itself to the trash – never delete them permanently, and never touch your other content.
