Crypto payment gateway for WooCommerce: accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, TRON & more with a wallet address. No account or API key. Escrow built in.

== Description ==

**Accept crypto payments in WooCommerce in one minute. Paste your wallet address. Done.**

Vaultion Payments is the crypto payment gateway for WooCommerce stores that want to get paid in Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC, Solana, TRON and more, without opening an account, waiting for approval or wiring up an API key.

= ⚡ Setup in 60 seconds =

1. Install and activate.
2. Paste the wallet address you want to be paid to.
3. Start taking crypto.

No sign-up. No dashboard to log into. No monthly fee. Works with the classic checkout, Checkout Blocks and HPOS.

= 💰 One flat fee: 0.75% =

Nothing per month, nothing to set up, no minimum. You decide whether you or your buyer covers it.

= 💎 Every major coin, eight networks =

Bitcoin · Ethereum · USDC · USDT · Solana · TRON · Litecoin · Polygon · Arbitrum · Base

One EVM address covers Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum and Polygon. Add a Bitcoin, Litecoin, Solana or TRON address when you want those too, and switch any network off with one click. Bitcoin, Litecoin and "Send to address" ETH arrive at a Vaultion deposit address and are forwarded to your wallet after confirmation; every other coin goes straight to your address.

= 🔒 Crypto escrow, built in =

Selling something expensive? Hold the payment in USDC escrow on Base until the buyer confirms delivery. Off, buyer's choice, or required: your call. A dispute goes to Vaultion-assisted human arbitration.

= 🎨 Your brand on the checkout =

Your logo, your colour, light or dark. Buyers see your store, powered by Vaultion.

= 🧭 A merchant workspace inside WooCommerce =

Payment links, every payment with its blockchain transaction, coins and wallets, escrow settings, checkout design. Right where WooCommerce keeps its payment settings. Nothing separate to sign in to.

= 🔗 Payment links and pay buttons =

Sell a service, a deposit or an invoice with a link, or put [vaultion_pay name="Deposit" amount="200.00"] on any page. Once paid, the order is marked paid like any storefront sale and the buyer gets a "Return to store" button.

= 🛡️ Security built in =

* **Non-custodial by design.** Buyers pay from their own wallets straight to your address. Vaultion never holds your balance. (Bitcoin, Litecoin and "Send to address" ETH are forwarded to you after confirmation.)
* **Nothing to leak.** A keyless store holds no API key, no secret and no credential. Vaultion never asks for private keys or recovery phrases.
* **Verified on chain, on the server.** An order is marked paid only from a confirmed blockchain receipt. A redirect, a pasted transaction hash or a spoofed callback can never do it.
* **No chargebacks.** A confirmed crypto payment stays paid.
* **Escrow held by a smart contract**, not by Vaultion. A separate guardian key can pause a ruling but can never redirect funds.
* **Every settings form is nonce-protected**, every output escaped, and the plugin passes the WordPress.org Plugin Check with zero errors.

= 🌍 Built for =

Freelancers and agencies taking deposits. Stores selling worldwide without card fees or chargebacks. Anyone who wants to be paid in crypto today, not after a week of onboarding.

= Already a Vaultion merchant? =

Connect your merchant account with its API key from the workspace's Settings tab and keep your account's settings, signed callbacks and payment items.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate Vaultion Payments. WooCommerce is required and the store currency must be USD.
2. Open WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Vaultion > Coins & wallets and paste at least one receiving address. Saving confirms which networks your buyers will see. Checkout is on.
3. Place a small test order. Only use addresses you control: a payment to a mistyped address cannot be recovered.

Tested with WordPress 7.1, WooCommerce 11.1 and PHP 8.3, including HPOS and Checkout Blocks.

== External services and data ==

This plugin uses the hosted Vaultion service at https://checkout.vaultion.org, operated by Vaultion Group Inc., to create checkout sessions, quote coin amounts, verify blockchain receipts and reconcile orders. Nothing is sent until you save a receiving address or connect an account. Each checkout sends the order reference, description, USD amount and payment preferences; without a connected account it also sends your site address, site name and saved receiving addresses. Order status is rechecked every few minutes and when a buyer returns. Blockchain records are public and permanent. The service runs on Cloudflare; prices come from public exchange trade data. Escrow agreements and evidence are handled on vaultion.org under the escrow terms. Read the [service terms](https://vaultion.org/payments/terms) and [privacy notice](https://vaultion.org/payments/privacy). Support: service@vaultion.org.

Fees: direct payments 0.75%, taken on chain (from your amount by default, or added for the buyer). Escrow: 4% below 500 USDC, 3% from 500 USDC, 2% from 5,000 USDC, paid by the buyer before funding. Network gas is additional and shown before the buyer authorizes.

WordPress stores the Vaultion session, network, amount, transaction and status with each order. Removing the plugin does not delete orders or hosted records.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= How do I accept Bitcoin payments in WooCommerce? =

Install Vaultion Payments, paste your Bitcoin address under WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Vaultion > Coins & wallets, and Bitcoin appears at checkout. The order is marked paid when the payment confirms on chain. The same works for Ethereum, USDC, Solana, TRON and Litecoin.

= Which cryptocurrencies can I accept? =

Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Ethereum (ETH), USDC on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum and Polygon, POL on Polygon, Solana (SOL, USDC, USDT) and TRON (TRX, USDT). A network is offered at checkout once you have saved an address for it and the hosted service has it active.

= What does it cost? =

The plugin is free. Direct payments carry a 0.75% service fee, taken on chain from the payment (from your amount by default, or added for the buyer if you choose). Escrow has its own fee, paid by the buyer before funding: 4% below 500 USDC, 3% from 500 USDC, 2% from 5,000 USDC. Network gas is additional.

= Do I need a Vaultion account? =

No. Paste your receiving address and checkout works. There is no sign-up, API key or approval step. Your workspace under WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Vaultion is built from your own orders.

= Is Vaultion a wallet or an exchange? =

No. Buyers approve payments in their own wallets, and Vaultion never asks for private keys or recovery phrases. Direct payments split your amount and the fee in one on-chain transaction; escrow funds are held by the escrow contract. Bitcoin, Litecoin and "Send to address" ETH are received at a Vaultion deposit address and forwarded to you after confirmation.

= How are orders marked paid? =

From the on-chain receipt, verified by the service. A buyer returning to the store or pasting a transaction hash never marks an order paid on its own.

= Is the escrow decentralized? =

No. Escrow uses Vaultion-assisted human arbitration: you are trusting Vaultion's reviewers. The guardian can pause a ruling but never redirect funds. Direct payments have no escrow protection.

= How secure is it? =

Buyers pay from their own wallets to your own address, so Vaultion never holds your funds (Bitcoin, Litecoin and "Send to address" ETH are forwarded to you after confirmation). A keyless store stores no API key or secret, so there is nothing to steal from your site. Orders are marked paid only from a blockchain receipt verified on the server. Escrow funds sit in a smart contract on Base; a guardian key can pause a ruling but never move funds.

= Does it work with Checkout Blocks and HPOS? =

Yes, both, and with the classic checkout.

== Changelog ==

= 1.4.13 =
Paste an address in Coins & wallets and its networks switch on at once; any change in a workspace form shows an unsaved-changes reminder under its Save button. A store with every network switched off no longer offers crypto at checkout, and Coins & wallets says so.

= 1.4.12 =
A receiving address you paste and save now starts switched on. Since 1.4.8 it saved as switched off until you saved Coins & wallets a second time.

= 1.4.11 =
Coins & wallets says that your addresses receive direct payments and, when escrow is on, escrow releases (the EVM address is the escrow seller).

= 1.4.10 =
Workspace header: the divider between the Vaultion mark and the navigation runs the full height of the header.

= 1.4.9 =
The checkout option reads "Pay with crypto: high-grade security, fast transactions." with "Or pay with escrow." when escrow is on; the coin logos say the rest. Workspace: the active tab is readable again.

= 1.4.8 =
The "Pay with Crypto!" option shows every coin your addresses accept, now including POL (Polygon) and TRX (TRON), and drops the coins of a network you switched off. Its description names the same coins. The workspace gets a sharper look: stronger contrast, depth, navy-and-gold tiles.

= 1.4.7 =
Buyers see "Pay with Crypto!" in cart and checkout. In WooCommerce > Settings > Payments the gateway is listed as "Vaultion Crypto Gateway with Escrow" with the Vaultion icon. Listing text icons render on every operating system.

= 1.4.6 =
Directory listing: the plugin name says what it is (crypto payment gateway and escrow for WooCommerce); icon, banner and screenshots; the description leads with coins, setup and fee. WooCommerce is declared as a required plugin. No payment behaviour changes.

= 1.4.5 =
Nothing of Vaultion's in the WordPress sidebar: the "Vaultion connection" entry under Settings is gone too. The connection page for merchants with an API key opens from the workspace's Settings tab (Connect it) at its old address.

= 1.4.4 =
The merchant workspace lives where every payment method keeps its settings: WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Vaultion. The separate Vaultion menu in the WordPress sidebar is gone; the pages and their data are unchanged.

= 1.4.3 =
The workspace looks like the product: Vaultion header with navigation, icons on every card, network and coin logos, real on/off switches for networks, escrow policy as option cards, transaction and network columns in Payments. The WooCommerce payment settings screen links to the workspace.

= 1.4.2 =
"Return to store" on the hosted checkout once a payment is confirmed: the buyer lands on the order page, which checks the order at once. A pay button anywhere on the site without an account: [vaultion_pay name="Website deposit" amount="20.00"] creates the order and opens the hosted checkout. The Payments workspace fills in the network of orders paid before 1.4.0. Needs the hosted service update released with this version for the return link.

= 1.4.1 =
Customize checkout (Vaultion > Settings): business name, logo, theme colour, light/dark/auto appearance and who pays the direct-payment fee, applied to new checkouts. Coins & wallets can switch a network off without removing its address. A customized design or a switched-off network needs the hosted service update released with this version; default settings work either way.

= 1.4.0 =
Merchant workspace inside WordPress (Vaultion menu): overview, payment links, payments with transaction links, coins and wallets, escrow settings by network, settings. Payment links create a WooCommerce order and a hosted checkout for a fixed USD amount. Paid orders record the network they settled on.

= 1.3.1 =
The checkout option shows the logos of the coins your saved addresses accept and the Vaultion logo, in classic and block checkout, and its description names those coins. The logo follows your theme's text colour, so it reads on light and dark checkouts.

= 1.3.0 =
No account needed: activate the plugin, paste a receiving address in the WooCommerce payment settings and checkout is live. Saving the settings checks each address with the service and lists the networks buyers will see. Orders are checked every few minutes and when the buyer returns. Stores connected with an API key keep working unchanged.

= 1.2.2 =
Bitcoin and Litecoin order notes: a short payment still completes the order and the note states what arrived and what you receive; a second note records the payout transaction that reaches your wallet. Corrects the price source for "Send to address" ETH (Coinbase Exchange).

= 1.2.1 =
Recognize direct-payment receipts on Ethereum mainnet (ETH and USDC) when the hosted service has activated that network. Describe the "Send to address" ETH route, which Vaultion receives and forwards like Bitcoin and Litecoin.

= 1.2.0 =
Recognize confirmed Bitcoin and Litecoin deposit payments, which Vaultion receives and forwards to the merchant. The order is marked paid from the confirmed deposit settlement, using the same authenticated status check as other coins.

= 1.1.1 =
Declare compatibility with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage and Cart & Checkout Blocks, and declare the tested WooCommerce versions. No payment behaviour changes.

= 1.1.0 =
Recognize independently verified direct-payment receipts on enabled Arbitrum, Polygon, Solana and TRON networks. Preserve Base escrow and controlled test-environment recovery. Hosted network activation and merchant receiving-wallet setup remain separate requirements.

= 1.0.0 =
Add Base mainnet ETH/USDC checkout, optional USDC escrow, explicit network-bound order recovery, production connection settings and service/privacy disclosures. Preserve controlled staging connection and same-folder upgrade support.

== Upgrade Notice ==

= 1.3.1 =
The checkout option now shows your coins' logos and the Vaultion logo.

= 1.3.0 =
Accept crypto with just your wallet address, no account or API key. Connected stores are unaffected.

= 1.2.2 =
Adds Bitcoin and Litecoin order notes for short payments and for the payout transaction to your wallet.

= 1.2.1 =
Adds Ethereum mainnet order recognition. Ethereum appears at checkout only after the hosted service activates it and the merchant saves a receiving wallet.

= 1.2.0 =
Adds Bitcoin and Litecoin order recognition. Those coins appear at checkout only after the hosted service activates them and the merchant saves a receiving address.

= 1.1.1 =
WooCommerce now recognizes the plugin as compatible with High-Performance Order Storage and Checkout Blocks. No settings change.

= 1.1.0 =
Additional networks require hosted-service activation. Existing orders keep their original payment options. Escrow remains USDC on Base.

= 1.0.0 =
First public package. Existing test stores must use the operator-provided compatibility ZIP and retain their staging configuration; do not activate both plugin folders.
