Vidal Promise Box brings the traditional Christian promise box experience to WordPress.

The plugin works locally on your WordPress installation. It does not require an account, does not use artificial intelligence, does not send telemetry, and does not contact external services.

For visitors who are not signed in, favorites and recent history are stored in the browser. The plugin does not create a personal profile from this information.

= Does it create audio files? =

No. The audio feature uses the browser's speech synthesis when available and does not upload or store audio files.

Yes. Administrators can create and edit promises from the WordPress dashboard.

= Which Bible translation is included? =

The bundled content is marked as public-domain source material. Site administrators are responsible for ensuring that any additional translation they enter or import is properly licensed.

== Privacy ==

Vidal Promise Box does not send personal data to Vidal Digital or any external service. Anonymous visitors may receive a one-way local visitor hash used only to avoid immediate repetition and aggregate local interactions. Favorites and recent history are stored in the visitor's browser. Administrators may remove all plugin data through the uninstall setting.
