== External Services ==

This plugin connects to FedEx Web Services (the FedEx Developer REST API) to fetch live shipping rates. This connection is required for the plugin's core function — without it, no FedEx rates can be displayed.

* **What is sent, and when:** on each cart/checkout rate request — and when you save the settings to validate your credentials and load available services — the plugin sends the shipment origin and destination address details (country, state, city, postal/ZIP code), the package weight and dimensions, and your configured FedEx API credentials to FedEx.
* **Service provider:** FedEx — https://developer.fedex.com/
* **Terms of use:** https://www.fedex.com/en-us/terms-of-use.html
* **Privacy policy:** https://www.fedex.com/en-us/trust-center/privacy.html

== Installation ==

2. Hit **Upload Plugin** button
3. Hit **Choose File** button and select zip file with the plugin

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need a FedEx account? =
Yes. FedEx Shipping connects to your own FedEx account, so you get your own negotiated rates. FedEx accounts are free to open, and you create a free developer app to get your API credentials.

= Why aren't any FedEx rates showing at checkout? =
The most common causes are a missing or incomplete origin address, incorrect API credentials, or no FedEx services enabled. Enable debug mode to see exactly why, and test in the FedEx sandbox before switching to production.
