Make your WordPress site editable in place with Webnak. Add your site key, the connector loads from Webnak's CDN. No theme edits.

== Description ==

[Webnak](https://webnak.dev) turns your live site into an editing
surface: click any text, image, or block and change it in place, then publish a
versioned revision.

This plugin adds the Webnak connector to your site's front end for you, no
editing `header.php`, no FTP. It simply injects the same lightweight connector
`<script>` tag the manual install uses, served from Webnak's global CDN. The
editor itself is loaded on demand from the CDN, so the plugin adds almost nothing
to your pages for visitors.

**You need:**

* A Webnak account and a **site key** (looks like `ilk_…`), from the
  [Webnak dashboard](https://cloud.wolfigs.com).
* This site's address added to the site's **allowed origins** in the dashboard
  (otherwise the editor won't open).

**Settings** live under *Settings → Webnak*: paste your site key, optionally pick
a loading indicator, and toggle it on. That's it.

This plugin is a thin installer for the Webnak service; it does not itself
collect data. When enabled, visitors' browsers load the connector script from
`cdn.wolfigs.com` and your published content from Webnak's data plane.

== External services ==

This plugin is an official installer for **Webnak**, a hosted visual-editing
service by Wolfigs. It does not bundle any editor code, it only outputs one
`<script>` tag when you enable it and enter your Webnak site key.

What is sent, and when:

* On every front-end page load, the visitor's browser loads the connector script
  from our CDN: `https://cdn.wolfigs.com/webnak.js`. The request carries no
  personal data (it is a static script fetch).
* That connector then requests the site's published content from the Webnak data
  plane, `https://data.webnak.wolfigs.com`, keyed by the public site key you
  configured. When a signed-in editor opens edit mode, the connector loads the
  editor bundle and the edit session from the same service.
* The plugin itself stores only the settings you enter (site key, optional
  data-server URL, loader choice) in the WordPress options table. It does not
  send WordPress user data anywhere.

Using this plugin requires a Webnak account and site key. By enabling it you rely
on the Webnak service, governed by:

* Terms of Service: https://wolfigs.com/terms
* Privacy Policy: https://wolfigs.com/privacy
* Service homepage: https://webnak.dev
* Dashboard (get your site key): https://cloud.wolfigs.com

== Installation ==

1. Upload the `webnak` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the zip via
   *Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin*.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. Go to *Settings → Webnak*, paste your **site key**, and save.
4. In the Webnak dashboard, add this site's address to its allowed origins.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need a Webnak account? =
Yes, the plugin installs the connector for a site you've created in Webnak. Get
a site key from the dashboard.

= Does this slow down my site? =
No. Only a small loader script is added; the editor is fetched from the CDN only
when someone opens edit mode.

= What is the "Data server" field? =
Leave it blank. It's only for self-hosted / custom Webnak data planes; the
connector uses Webnak's default otherwise.

== Changelog ==

= 0.2.0 =
* Renamed from Weblay to Webnak. The option key, settings page and script tag all
  use the new name, so existing installs must re-enter their site key under
  Settings, Webnak.
* Point the dashboard links at cloud.wolfigs.com, the Wolfigs Cloud account shell
  that replaced the old per-product dashboard host.

= 0.1.1 =
* Document supported WordPress version and external services (Webnak CDN + data plane).

= 0.1.0 =
* Initial release: settings page + front-end connector injection.
