Connect WooCommerce checkout directly to Flodesk and automatically sync subscribers with enriched customer data for improved email segmentation.

== Description ==

WFUcore Checkout Subscribe for WooCommerce to Flodesk helps you grow and segment your email audience by capturing subscribers directly at checkout and sending them to Flodesk with structured customer data.

Unlike basic newsletter integrations, this plugin enriches subscriber data from WooCommerce orders, allowing you to build more relevant segments inside Flodesk using custom fields and customer purchase context.

The plugin stores subscribers locally in WordPress and syncs them with Flodesk via API, with support for manual re-sync, CSV export, and failure recovery.

This plugin is independently developed and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with Flodesk or WooCommerce. Flodesk is a trademark of its respective owner.

== Third-Party Services ==

This plugin integrates with Flodesk (https://flodesk.com), a third-party email marketing service.

When a user opts in during checkout, the plugin sends data to Flodesk in order to create or update a subscriber.

The data sent to Flodesk may include:
- Email address (required)
- Full name (if provided)
- Order-related metadata (custom fields)

No data is sent without explicit user consent via the checkout opt-in checkbox.

This data is used only for email marketing and segmentation purposes inside Flodesk.

The plugin is available in two versions:

= Free Version =
* Basic checkout subscription
* Sends subscriber email and primary purchased product to Flodesk
* Suitable for simple email segmentation based on product interest

= Pro Version =

The Pro version unlocks advanced customer data enrichment for WooCommerce → Flodesk integration, helping you build high-performing email segments based on real purchase behavior.

Instead of only sending basic subscriber data, Pro adds structured checkout intelligence that enables deeper audience targeting inside Flodesk.

With Pro, you can send enriched customer attributes such as:

* Most valuable purchased product from the order
* Primary product category based on checkout items
* Total order value for the purchase
* Payment method used during checkout
* Customer billing country

These data points allow you to create highly targeted Flodesk Segments based on purchase value, product interest, and customer behavior at checkout.

All data is captured at checkout and sent once per subscriber.
