== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this work without Elementor? =
No, Elementor must be installed and active for widget detection to work.

= Will this slow down my site? =
No. All scanning happens in wp-admin only, on demand or via a daily scheduled scan. Nothing runs on the front end.

= Does it delete my data when I uninstall? =
Only if you enable "Delete data on uninstall" in Settings. Otherwise your scan history stays in the database in case you reinstall.

== Additional Information ==

**Data Storage**
WidgetPilot For Elementor stores scanned widget data in two custom database tables. No data is sent to any external server — all scanning happens locally on your site.

**Performance**
Scanning runs only in wp-admin, on demand (Scan Now) or via a daily WP-Cron event. Nothing runs on the front end, so there is no impact on your site's page load speed.

**Compatibility**
Detects Elementor core widgets, Elementor Pro widgets, and third-party addon widgets (e.g. Essential Addons, PowerPack, Jet Elements) as long as they register through Elementor's standard widget system.
