Connect your WordPress site to Worldwatch: verify your website and bring your WooCommerce watches to Worldwatch.

== Description ==

**Connect your WordPress site to Worldwatch, the marketplace and register for the watch trade.**

The Worldwatch plugin links your website to your Worldwatch account in a few clicks. Your site gets verified, your verified-dealer badge can appear on it, and with WooCommerce your watches can reach Worldwatch straight from your shop.

= What the plugin does =

* **Website verification.** Worldwatch confirms the website is yours, so your verified-dealer badge can show on it. Visitors can see that the site belongs to a verified Worldwatch dealer.
* **WooCommerce connection.** When WooCommerce is active, connecting the plugin also connects your shop, so your watches can reach Worldwatch. The shop key the plugin creates is listed under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API, where you can revoke it at any time.
* **Site insights.** Worldwatch uses data from your website to verify it and to show you how listings perform.

= How it works =

1. Install and activate the plugin.
2. Click **Connect**.
3. Sign in at worldwatch.market and approve the connection.

Your site is now linked to your Worldwatch account.

= What you need =

* A Worldwatch account. Create one at https://worldwatch.market.
* WooCommerce, if you want to connect your shop.

Some Worldwatch services, such as publishing your watches to sales channels, are part of paid Worldwatch plans.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Can I try it in WordPress Playground? =

You can look around, but not connect: Playground runs only in your browser, so Worldwatch cannot reach it. Install the plugin on a website that is online to connect.

= Can I link each site of a multisite network? =

Each site with its own domain can be linked. Sites that share one domain in a subdirectory network share one Worldwatch site, so only one of them can hold the link.

= Does the plugin slow my site down? =

No. Your pages look and work the same.

= My security plugin blocks the connection. =

The settings page names the plugin in the way and the setting to change. For All-In-One Security it offers a button that allows Worldwatch; nothing changes until you click it.

= How do I stop it? =

Deactivate or delete the plugin. It ends the connection with Worldwatch, deletes the WooCommerce key it made and removes its own settings.

== External services ==

This plugin connects to Worldwatch only after you click Connect and approve.

* When you connect, you sign in and approve the connection on the Worldwatch website (worldwatch.market).
* Once connected, the plugin talks to the Worldwatch service (api.chronos.worldwatch.market). It keeps the connection active, verifies your website and collects website data for verification and analysis. With WooCommerce, it also sends the shop key the plugin creates for Worldwatch.
