This place was very unique with fresh made pizza. Great for those who like fresh made beer there is a place connected to the pizza place. Pizza was great. They could get rid of the stands that have pizza boxes make it more inviting.
Wonderful, wood-fired vegetarian pizzas here with terrific service. They even offer adult ice creams! Great experience; great food. Plus, we were impressed that the manager stopped by our table to make sure we were happy with the food and tell us about other offerings.
Last night was a bad night for Earth and Stone. Place was packed, but we ordered our pizza and salad to go. Just 2 large simple cheese pizzas. Both were undercooked. Neither had a nice crust edge. Dough was not good. Ordered an Italian salad...but never ate it. The lettuce was mushy and parts were black. Couldn't even think of eating it. This is probably our worst experience here. Not up to par. Don't recommend eating here if the place is too busy - quality suffers.
I've been enjoying Earth & Stone's pizzas since they first started out as a food truck. Thin crust. Wood fired oven (don't accept gas fired; it makes a difference) not overloaded with toppings. The Patriarch, Green st, tommy g, and PMS are some of my go-tos. And now they have ice cream, too. Try the adult ice cream (includes spirits)
The pizzas here are largely fun and interesting. The crust I find usually to not be crisp enough. It is always soggy. But then I get pockets of burnt crust also. This may be because they are always busy. The atmosphere is a lot of fun. It's a great place for a casual date night or a get together with friends. It being campus 805 there are tons of beers and what not to choose from. This is not exactly a pizza parlor in that there is very limited interaction with a server or anything. You walk up to the front and order your pizza and pay. They hand you a buzzer, when it goes off you walk up to the counter and get your pizza. If you are ordering takeout you walk up to the normal spot to pick up the pizza and let someone know. They will grab your pizza for you and then you'll pay. Overall it is probably one of the best pizza places in Huntsville. I really enjoyed the Latham and the cheesy bread!
Gave it 2 stars cause it did actually taste good and service was good.
But it's like a ton of money for what taste like a pizza you'd get when you take your family to a neighborhood swimming pool. We got 2 larges and a meatball sub, the larges are seriously like a little frozen California pizza kitchen pizza you'd buy at Publix. The calzone was good but was 14! Dollars and it was average size at best should be around 7 bucks.
Plus the entire place smells like stale beer my daughter was begging me to leave. All in all the food was ok though, just certainly not a place to take your kids to
That was disgustingly expensive. I feel like the butt of a joke. I would have gotten more bang for my buck if I paid someone the same amount to kick me in the shins.
Frankly, I should have gone to Dominos.
Gathered there today for a family lunch. We had two different pizza and both were very good. Place was a little crowded for Sunday at 1pm. Nice to be able to eat a good quality pizza with a delicious draft beer.
in town for the weekend and wanted to try something new.
pizza was good. very thin crust. service Sunday at 430 was good
only difficult part was finding the place as it is part of the yellow something brewhouse. we almost gave up and went somewhere else.. but we are glad we stayed
My friend and I came to grab some quick lunch and really enjoyed it here! We went there around 3ish and it was not that busy. People trickled in afterwards, but the food was fast and made deliciously. We ordered the Tommy G pizza as it was recommended by many before. Half of it was ordered with no meats and we really enjoyed it! It was fresh and tasty. We shared the 14 inch and we still had leftovers.
The staff was also very friendly and knowledgeable on the cuisine. We were surprised by their ability to name everything in the pizzas and were treated with the utmost customer service. I will definitely be coming back to try other of their veggie pizzas as well as their dessert options!
Vibrant place on a Wednesday night. Lots of folks outside playing on the lawn and dining on the picnic tables. Basically a large beer hall with a pizza joint in the back.
The pizza was tasty but I was disappointed in that it sat out on a counter for a long time; apparently the forgot to activate my buzzer. Probably would have been a lot more enjoyable hot out of the oven.
I ordered a small salad with balsamic vinaigrette. As I poured the dressing out of the little black plastic cup, I realized it was only vinegar. When I brought this to the attention of one of the counter folks, they said that's what they have. ?? A little education is in order ...
Not a bad experience. I'd probably visit again. I think mgmt needs to cover some basics with the staff.
Hands down best pizza in town. Developed a massive following as a local food truck which pushed the local owners to open their first brick and mortar. If it weren't for Earth and Stone Huntsvillians would be out of luck on the pizza scene. Hand made crust and fresh ingredients cooked in an authentic wood fired pizza oven. Delicious! Don't miss their ice cream either! All flavors made in house.
The center and set up with the brewery are awesome. You order at the counter and pick it up when ready, so look at the menu before you get there cause it's busy and you may feel rushed. Pretzel with beer cheese was great, cheesy bread typical but good, peppedew and pesto chicken pizzas were both really good. I love the thin crust with fancy toppings. The carrot cake ice cream was delicious.
Good wood-fired pizza in the middle of a brewery, how could it not be good? The use good quality ingredients and the staff is always very friendly. My go-to pizza is usually the Tommy G but there is no bad decision. Earth & Stone will even deliver it to you if you're in one of the other nearby breweries such as Innerspace. The place offers good framily-friendly environment with a large green space just outside for the kids to go nuts while mom and had have a couple beers on the patio.
This place was really hard to find. But once I did, I'm glad I did. Service was really good and they have a brewery attached that you can order some really good beers from. Once the food came I was pleasantly surprised and glad I came. I'd definitely come back, next time I'm in Alabama.
Oh my word!!! Absolutely the best pizza I ever put in my mouth!! And don't skip the ice cream! Butter pecan sooo many pecans in ever bite!!
Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza was a great place to grab a quick dinner. The pizza was pretty dang good and the atmosphere was spectacular. The partnership with Yellowhammer made the experience even better.
The restaurant is located in a utilitarian development that is perfectly Spartan. You walk up to the counter and order your pizza, which is then served to you on a piece of butcher paper (who needs plates right?). While you wait you can walk 20 ft through the wall and order a beer at Yellowhammer. The hustle and bustle of both establishments makes for a very energetic environment that is very enjoyable as you socialize at shared tables and enjoy your pizza and beer.
The pizza is pretty good. The crust is crispy and chewy, while the sauce and toppings over a great flavor. The wood fire gives such a good smoky taste to everything.
The pizza we ordered end up coming up a little burnt. This was recognized by the cooks and they started a replacement pizza for us before even delivering the first pizza for us to eat while we wait for the new one. That's the kind of service that promotes devoted customers. Even with the slightly burned crust, it was still a great 'za.
Came to Huntsville from Birmingham with my son for an event and stopped here for a quick lunch. We were not disappointed. We both got the Cuban sandwich. The wood fire added a very unique touch to an already great sandwich. We liked it so much, we stopped again on the way back to Birmingham and grabbed one of their pizzas to go. Again, the food was great and the service top notch. I hope they branch out and open a location in Birmingham in the near future.
Went for lunch and it was amazing. My wife and I got a 10" patriarch pizza. We both love it and will definitely be back. We plan on trying several different kinds and will post more reviews when we do. Would definitely recommend.
Overpriced, surprisingly bland pizza that could and should be so much better. The sausage was the quality you find on cheap frozen pizza. The crust was surprisingly mediocre. The side salad was excellent but the dressing is quite sweet. The buzzer system feels unnecessarily impersonal.
