== Description ==

📈 **Get More Sales, Leads & Email Signups With a Powerful WordPress Popup Plugin**

Create engaging pop-ups and opt-in forms that help you grow your email list, capture more leads, and turn website visitors into customers — all with an easy-to-use WordPress popup builder.

YS LeadGen gives you a simple way to create popups, signup forms, offers, and lead generation campaigns directly in WordPress. It combines a visual popup builder with the tools you need to turn website visitors into subscribers, leads, and customers — without coding or sending your data to an external SaaS platform.

Create campaigns for email signups, promotions, lead capture, WooCommerce sales, and more:

* **Email opt-in popups** for growing your subscriber list
* **Exit intent popups** for visitors who are about to leave
* **Lead generation popups** for collecting enquiries and leads
* **Spin-to-win coupon wheels** for interactive offers
* **Content locker popups** for gated content and downloads
* **WooCommerce cart abandonment popups** for recovering lost sales
* **Contact and payment forms** for enquiries and transactions
* **Site-wide announcement bars** for important messages and promotions

YS LeadGen is designed to be an easy-to-use **popup maker for WordPress**, whether you're running a blog, online store, service business, or marketing website. Build a campaign, customize it visually, choose when and where it appears, and publish it from your WordPress dashboard.

There are no complicated setup requirements and no coding skills needed.

= Popup types you can build =

* **Lightbox popup** – a box centered on the screen, with the rest of the page dimmed behind it.
* **Exit intent popup** – appears when a visitor is about to leave, giving you another opportunity to engage them.
* **Floating bar / announcement bar** – a thin bar at the top or bottom of the page for announcements, offers, or discount codes.
* **Corner slide-in** – a small box that slides in from the corner without covering the page.
* **Inline signup form** – a form placed directly inside your content, such as within a blog post.
* **Spin-to-win wheel** – an interactive coupon wheel that can encourage visitors to sign up.
* **Multi-step form** – breaks a longer form into smaller steps to make it easier to complete.
* **Quiz** – a short series of questions that can provide a personalized result.
* **Countdown timer** – a live timer that creates urgency around a sale or limited-time offer.
* **Content locker** – hides selected content until the visitor completes an action, such as entering an email address.
* **Social proof popup** – displays recent activity, such as recent signups.
* **Video popup** – opens a YouTube, Vimeo, or self-hosted video in a popup window.
* **Floating badge button** – a small corner button that opens a popup when clicked.

= What triggers a popup =

You decide when a campaign should appear:

* **Exit intent** – shows when a visitor is about to leave the page.
* **Time delay / campaign scheduling** – display a campaign after a set amount of time or during a scheduled period.
* **Scroll depth** – opens after a visitor reaches a selected percentage of the page.
* **Click trigger** – opens when a visitor clicks a button, link, image, or menu item.
* **Mobile exit intent** – uses a fast scroll-up gesture or back-button tap on mobile devices, where there is no mouse to track.

= Who sees each popup =

Display rules help you tailor campaigns to different visitors:

* **Page-level targeting** – show a campaign on specific pages, posts, categories, or WooCommerce product pages.
* **Device targeting** – show or hide a popup on mobile, tablet, or desktop.
* **Location targeting** – target visitors by country or city.
* **Traffic source targeting** – target visitors arriving from a particular search engine, advertisement, or referral.
* **On-site retargeting** – stop showing an offer to visitors who have already signed up or converted.
* **Rule combinations** – combine targeting conditions using AND/OR logic.

= Built for WooCommerce =

If you run a WooCommerce store, YS LeadGen can help you engage shoppers at important points in the buying journey.

* **Cart triggers** – show a popup when someone adds a product to their cart.
* **Checkout triggers** – display a message when shoppers reach the checkout page.
* **Cart value rules** – trigger campaigns based on cart value or selected products.
* **Dynamic coupons** – generate and apply a discount code when someone signs up.
* **Cart recovery emails** – follow up with shoppers who leave without completing their purchase.
* **Product recommendations** – display related products or bestsellers inside a campaign.

= Forms and payments =

Use the built-in form tools to collect the information your business actually needs.

* **Custom form fields** – create contact and lead generation forms with the fields you choose.
* **Direct payments** – collect payments inside a form using Stripe, PayPal, or Square.
* **Test mode** – test payment forms before accepting live payments.
* **Works with other form plugins** – add popup triggers and tracking to Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, or Fluent Forms.

= Integrations =

* **Spam protection** – Google reCAPTCHA helps prevent unwanted bot submissions.
* **A/B testing** – compare two versions of a campaign to see which one generates better results.

= Built for Every Role on Your Team =

Business owners can capture leads, collect subscribers, and recover lost sales. Designers can build branded popups that fit the site. Developers can manage campaigns directly in WordPress, with no separate SaaS platform required.

= Your Data Stays on Your Site =

Subscriber and lead data lives inside your WordPress database, not an outside platform. There's no monthly bill that grows with your list, and no subscriber limit.

= Built for Speed =

Popups shouldn't slow down your whole site. YS LeadGen only loads popup code on pages with an active campaign, so every other page loads exactly as fast as before.

= Try it, then decide =

The [live demo](https://demo.ysleadgen.com/) lets you build a real campaign in your browser with no account required.

The [documentation](https://docs.ysleadgen.com/) includes setup guides, while the [template library](https://ysleadgen.com/popup-templates/) provides hundreds of ready-made designs to help you get started faster.

Everything described above is included free, with no time limit.

If you need additional templates or advanced automation, a paid version with [one-time lifetime pricing](https://ysleadgen.com/pricing/) is available on the [plugin website](https://ysleadgen.com/). The paid version is optional and not required to use the free plugin.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= I've never built a popup before. Is this easy to learn? =

Yes. Pick a template, then change the text, colors, and fields using the visual builder. No coding is needed. Most people can publish their first popup in a few minutes.

= Do you limit how many subscribers or popup views I can have? =

No. There is no monthly view limit and no subscriber limit. Your costs don't increase simply because your email list grows.

= Will popups make my website slower? =

YS LeadGen only loads popup code on pages where you have an active campaign. Pages without a campaign don't load that popup code.

= How does exit intent work on a phone? Phones don't have a mouse. =

That's true, so mobile exit intent works differently. It watches for a fast scroll-up movement or a tap on the back button, and shows the popup when the visitor is likely to leave.

= Can I connect this to my email marketing tool? =

Yes. YS LeadGen connects directly with Mailchimp, HubSpot, Brevo, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, MailerLite, GetResponse, and AWeber. For other services, you can use a Webhook to connect through Zapier, Make, or another compatible system.

= I run a WooCommerce store. Can this help with abandoned carts? =

Yes. You can show a campaign when someone adds a product to their cart or reaches checkout, apply an automatic coupon, and send a follow-up email when a shopper doesn't complete the purchase.

= Can I make the popup match my brand colors and fonts? =

Yes. Colors, fonts, buttons, and fields can be customized in the visual builder. You can start with a template or create a campaign from scratch.

= What payment options work inside a form? =

Stripe, PayPal, and Square are supported. You can set a fixed price or let the visitor choose an amount, and test mode lets you test the setup before accepting live payments.

= Where is my subscriber data stored? =

Subscriber data is stored inside your own WordPress database. It is not sent to an outside company by default. You can export your list to a CSV file whenever you want.

= Why should I choose this instead of other popup plugins? =

YS LeadGen focuses on giving you control over both your campaigns and your data. You can build popups, optin forms, exit intent campaigns, WooCommerce recovery campaigns, spin wheels, and email integrations without relying on an external SaaS platform to manage your subscriber list.
