USING THE UPDATE
1. Back up the site. Install the candidate only in a private development copy. Confirm PHP7.4+, WordPress6.2+, MySQL/MariaDB InnoDB and the normal WordPress PHP extensions. DNS-pinned public checks additionally need cURL.
2. In a page editor, open ZEISMO SEO. Save SEO fields separately from the page body. The analysis button reads current Gutenberg/Elementor edits; it does not save them. A stale SEO snapshot blocks overwrite.
3. Schema JSON describes real, visible facts. Templates are copied to pages rather than automatically changing all pages. Reviewer attribution should identify an actual reviewer. Business locations are reusable records rendered by the location block, not independent public location pages.
4. Use Link coverage after collecting a link scan. Reports cover stored published content; Site structure can inspect anonymous server-rendered HTML, including menus. JavaScript-rendered content is outside this check. Weekly scans are opt-in and depend on WordPress Cron.
5. Content tools and migrations create a private 15-minute preview. Select rows and apply once. Changed rows are skipped. Checkpoints hold up to 50 selected records and 20 named restore points; restore is a new reviewed edit.
6. Advanced redirects support an exact path or final wildcard, simple query matching, 301/302/307/308/410/451, and optional query preservation. Exact existing rules run first. For a site move, review and test a temporary prefix rule before choosing a permanent status. Administrative paths are protected.
7. AI drafts require administrator spending consent. Start one selected task or a batch of up to 50 records. Run remaining items serially while the page stays open. Stop/cancel prevents the next request; it cannot cancel a completed or in-flight charge. Review ready drafts before applying. Rewrites replace the body with plain paragraphs; builder pages are excluded from body replacement.
8. Content Review takes a saved page plus your own topic brief. Read measured word/sentence/literal phrase facts separately from generated editorial suggestions. It cannot supply competitor search-volume or backlink data. Editing a reviewed source produces a stale notice.
9. Search details use your own Google connection. Inspect URL refers to the indexed version. Queries are exact filters, not a tracked live SERP. Match the property and report periods before interpreting changes.
10. Optional analytics does not create a consent banner. Configure your consent system and verify both grant and revoke paths before enabling tags.
11. Administrators create SEO Manager/SEO Author roles explicitly. SEO Manager includes ordinary Editor capabilities and local SEO tools, not billing or connection control. Each multisite blog retains separate options, histories and connections.
12. REST clients use WordPress authentication, such as application passwords over HTTPS. GET /wp-json/zeismo-seo/v1/posts/{id} or /terms/{id}; POST meta plus the current snapshot to the same route. Stale writes return409. Analysis: POST /posts/{id}/analyze. WordPress6.9+ Abilities and the official MCP Adapter expose the opted-in read-only analyze-page ability with user capability checks. Revoke the application password to remove client access.

LIMITS AND RETENTION
Public sitemap pages contain up to100 posts each. News output is limited to eligible recent posts; schema and sitemaps do not guarantee enhanced results.
Internal-link reports show up to200 rows per direction and identify candidates rather than asserting inaccessible orphan pages. Incoming URLs match stored permalink URLs; aliases and rendered menus need separate review.
Imports cover documented metadata keys and ZEISMO settings/advanced-redirect JSON (exact paths and prefix/query rules), not all proprietary settings or arbitrary CSV. Uploaded existing filenames are not silently renamed; filename templates apply to future uploads.
Custom field analysis accepts only explicitly selected public scalar fields. ACF relationship/repeater objects are not reconstructed. Polylang and Elementor were tested with real installed plugins; this is not a guarantee for every theme, WPML configuration or AMP implementation.
Local journals retain prior values. The UI lists recent records; no whole-database rollback is claimed. This package does not delete records on uninstall.

SETUP
Five steps: site essentials, identity, feature choices, optional Google connection and summary. Feature choices use existing runtime options and preserve other settings. IndexNow explicitly discloses URL sharing; skipping Google never disconnects an existing account. Connect continues to the established consent and property-selection flow. Setup can be reopened without resetting saved feature choices.
