* shortcode-based embedding
* import and export tools
* source types for Manual / Builder Slides, Posts, JSON import, and YouTube Playlist
* media integration support for Google Fonts, YouTube, Vimeo, and JSON-driven content

== Installation ==

1. Upload the `zoro-slider` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen.
2. Activate the plugin through the `Plugins` screen in WordPress.
3. Open `Zoro Slider` from the WordPress admin menu.
4. Create a slider, configure its settings, and embed it with the generated shortcode.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= How do I add a slider to a page or post? =

Create a slider in the admin area, then copy the generated shortcode and paste it into a page, post, or widget area.

= Does the plugin support import and export? =

Yes. Sliders can be exported from the plugin admin and imported into another site running the plugin.

= What happens if I uninstall the plugin? =

Uninstalling Zoro Slider removes plugin-owned slider data from the site, including saved sliders, related plugin taxonomy terms, and plugin import/export temp directories. Use export before uninstall if you need a backup.

= Does the plugin contact third-party services? =

Yes. Optional integrations are available for Google Fonts, YouTube Playlist, JSON import, and Vimeo-based media. See the `External Services` section below for full disclosure details.

= Which source types need external configuration? =

`Manual / Builder Slides` and `Posts` do not need an external source URL.

`JSON import` needs a trusted external JSON URL.

`YouTube Playlist` needs a YouTube Data API key.

== External Services ==

This plugin can connect to third-party services only when you choose features that require them.

= Google Fonts =

Service: Google Fonts

What is sent: requests for font CSS and related font files. These requests typically include the selected font family/variant in the request URL and standard browser/request metadata such as IP address and user agent handled by the browser.

When it is sent: when a slider uses Google Fonts and the slider is rendered in the browser, and when Google font previews are loaded in the builder.

Service endpoints:

* `https://fonts.googleapis.com/`
* `https://fonts.gstatic.com/`

Terms and privacy:

* https://policies.google.com/terms
* https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy

= YouTube Playlist =

Service: YouTube / Google APIs

What is sent: the configured playlist ID or URL-derived playlist ID, your YouTube Data API key, and standard request/browser metadata. If a slide uses an embedded YouTube player, the selected YouTube video identifier is also used to load the player.

When it is sent: when a slider uses `Source Type = YouTube Playlist`, when preview/frontend rendering requests playlist items, or when an embedded YouTube player is loaded through a layer placeholder such as `{{video_embed}}`.

Service endpoints:

* `https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/playlistItems`
* `https://www.youtube.com/`
* `https://www.youtube.com/embed/`

Terms and privacy:

* https://www.youtube.com/t/terms

= JSON Import =

Service: Configured external JSON endpoint

What is sent: a normal outbound HTTP request from the WordPress site to the configured JSON URL, plus standard request metadata generated by the hosting/server environment.

When it is sent: when a slider uses `Source Type = JSON import` and preview/frontend rendering fetches the configured JSON endpoint.

Important note: the plugin does not control the privacy practices of the remote JSON service you choose. Site owners should only use trusted JSON endpoints.

Service endpoints:

* the JSON URL configured in slider settings

= Vimeo =

Service: Vimeo

What is sent: the selected Vimeo video identifier and standard request metadata needed to load Vimeo API or player resources.

When it is sent: when a Vimeo-based video layer, background video, or intentional HTML embed is loaded by the plugin.

Service endpoints:

* `https://api.vimeo.com/`
* `https://player.vimeo.com/`

Terms and privacy:

= ThemeCrestHQ Template & Add-on Service =

Zoro Slider can optionally connect to the ThemeCrestHQ service to browse, preview, and download slider templates and add-ons created and maintained by the plugin author.

This service is optional and is only used when the user chooses to browse or import remote templates or add-ons from within the plugin. The plugin functions normally without using these features.

The service is used for:

* Browsing the remote template catalog.
* Previewing available templates before import.
* Downloading slider templates.
* Downloading official Zoro Slider add-ons.

Data sent to the service:

* Requested template ID or add-on ID.

Data is only transmitted when the user explicitly performs one of the following actions:

* Opens the Remote Templates screen.
* Opens a template preview.
* Downloads a template.
* Downloads an official add-on.

No browsing or download requests are made automatically during normal plugin operation.
