A simple, minimal classic theme. Works on its own, and optionally uses FLEX plugins when they are active.

== Description ==

FLEX Start is a quiet one-column theme for blogs and simple sites. It ships a compiled Tailwind stylesheet, a readable content width, and the usual WordPress templates (home, posts, pages, archives, search, and 404).

The theme does not require plugins. If you install FLEX plugins from WordPress.org, it can use them when they are available:

* Flex Fields — a Global Option named `footer_text` can replace the Customizer footer text
* Flex Forms — frontend forms pick up the theme’s field and button styles
* Flex Shortcodes — reusable snippets work in post and page content
* Flex SMTP — routes WordPress mail (including Flex Forms notifications) through your provider
* Flex SEO and SMM — breadcrumbs use `flex_seo_breadcrumb()` when that function exists
* Flex Translate — the header shows `ft_language_switcher()` when that function exists

Appearance → FLEX plugins lists the suite. Only plugins already hosted on WordPress.org can be installed from that screen. Nothing is installed unless you choose it.

== Installation ==

1. In your admin go to Appearance → Themes → Add New and search for “FLEX Start”, or upload the theme zip.
2. Activate the theme.
3. Go to Appearance → Customize to set a logo, optional header image, menus, accent color, and optional footer text.
4. Optionally open Appearance → FLEX plugins to install listed FLEX plugins.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this theme require FLEX plugins? =

No. It is a complete theme on its own. Plugin features appear only when those plugins are active.

= How do I change the accent color? =

Appearance → Customize → FLEX Start → Accent color.

= How do I set footer text with Flex Fields? =

Create a Flex Fields Global Option named `footer_text`. When that value is not empty, it overrides the Customizer footer text.
