Material Agency is a child theme of Material AI. It replaces the header and the
main banner with an agency-style layout and recolours the palette in green and
deep navy.

== Description ==

Material Agency changes three things about its parent and leaves everything
else alone:

1. The header becomes the Material AI Pro header: a dark top bar above a
   floating white navigation bar.
2. The main banner becomes the Pro hero, sitting on a statistics plinth. It
   is a single static banner, not a carousel: one Cover block whose image,
   overlay colour and dim level are all editable. The arrow tabs at its edges
   are kept as decoration.
3. The colour palette is recoloured: #70BA02 green and #100F4B navy.

Both the header and the banner are supplied as patterns that keep the parent's
slugs — material-ai/header and material-ai/main-banner. WordPress registers a
child theme's patterns before its parent's and skips any slug already taken, so
the replacements apply on every template without a single template or template
part being copied. Nothing in the parent is edited or duplicated.

The banner needs no carousel library and no slider script. The only JavaScript
this theme adds sets the statistics rings from the percentage each one shows,
and builds the mobile menu panel.

== Installation ==

1. Install and keep the Material AI parent theme in wp-content/themes. It does
   not need to be activated.
2. Upload Material Agency through Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme.
3. Activate it.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I still get the parent's style variations? =

Yes. Every colour in this theme resolves through the palette in theme.json,
with no colour literals in the stylesheet, so the variations that ship with
Material AI still recolour the header and the banner.

= Why does the child theme.json repeat the whole palette? =

A child theme's theme.json settings replace the parent's rather than merging
into them, so the full palette has to be present for the presets that are not
being changed to survive.
