A calm, content-first personal site theme: front page, blog, projects, portfolio, services, testimonials and contact, with light/dark/system modes.

== Description ==

OZ Personal is a personal/portfolio theme with a calm, content-first layout. It
offers light/dark/system colour modes (no flash on load), accent-colour presets,
self-hosted Inter, an automatic table of contents with scroll-spy on posts,
breadcrumbs, a footer widget area, and a fully keyboard-navigable menu with
submenu support.

Headings and body copy come from WordPress itself: the front page shows the
title and content of the page you assign in Settings → Reading, the blog index
uses your posts page, and archive pages use their own titles and descriptions.
The Customizer only carries presentation options (accent, colour mode, header
menu style, services layout, which homepage sections are shown) plus the photo
strip images, social links, avatar initials and a contact address.

== Installation ==

1. In wp-admin go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme.
2. Upload the theme zip and click Activate.
3. Settings → Reading: choose "A static page" and pick a front page and a posts page (or keep "Your latest posts" to show the blog on the front page).
4. Appearance → Menus: assign a menu to the "Primary" location.
5. Appearance → Customize → "OZ:" sections for accent, colour mode and layout options.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= How do I change the accent colour? =
Appearance → Customize → OZ: Appearance → Default accent. Visitors can switch
between light and dark with the toggle in the header; their choice is stored in
their own browser.

= Where does the text on the front page come from? =
From the page you select in Settings → Reading. Its title becomes the hero
heading and its content the intro. The line above the heading is the site
tagline (Settings → General).

= Where do projects, portfolio, services and testimonials come from? =
From the optional "OZ Personal Companion" plugin, which registers those content
types so your content stays portable if you switch themes. Without the plugin
those sections simply do not appear.

Screenshot photographs

All five photographs were taken by the theme author and are licensed under the
GNU GPL v2 or later, the same licence as the theme:

  1. Moreton Bay fig, Adelaide Botanic Garden, South Australia
  2. Bougainvillea arbour, South Bank Parklands, Brisbane, Queensland
  3. Surfers Paradise from above, Gold Coast, Queensland
  4. Limestone stacks on the Great Ocean Road, Victoria
  5. Navigation beacon on a groyne, Perth, Western Australia

Projects, Portfolio, Services, Testimonials, FAQ and the About-page data (work,
skills, clients, timeline) are provided by the optional companion plugin
"OZ Personal Companion", so your content stays portable if you change themes.
The theme works without it — those sections simply stay empty.

== Changelog ==

= 1.1.1 =
* The Tailwind build now ships unminified as well as minified; the minified copy is only served when SCRIPT_DEBUG is off.
* Replaced the screenshot photographs and documented their authorship and licence in this file.
* The photo strip now uses each image's own alternative text, falling back to the tile caption only when none is set.

= 1.1.0 =
* The primary navigation now renders every menu depth, with keyboard-accessible submenu toggles.
* The skip link is no longer covered by the WordPress admin bar.
* Keyboard focus is trapped inside the search dialog, the mobile menu and the lightbox, and returns to the trigger on close.
* The front page follows Settings → Reading: latest posts or the assigned static page's title and content.
* Customizer options trimmed to presentation settings; headings and body copy now come from core site data and page content.
* Search-engine metadata (meta description, Open Graph, JSON-LD) moved to the companion plugin.
* Contact and newsletter forms are only shown when a plugin handles the submission.
* Added a footer widget area.

= 1.0.0 =
* Initial release.
