== Installation ==

1. In your admin panel, go to Appearance -> Themes and click the 'Add New' button.
2. Type in Rural Blog in the search form and press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard.
3. Click on the 'Install' button, then the 'Activate' button to use your new theme right away.
4. Navigate to Appearance -> Customize in your admin panel to customize the theme to your taste.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does this theme use Google Fonts? =

No. Rural Blog never loads a font from a third party. The font dropdowns offer web-safe stacks that need no download at all, plus any family you have installed yourself through the WordPress Font Library (WordPress 7.0+), which is served from your own site. The default is the native system font stack.

= How do I remove the theme credit in the footer? =

Customize -> Footer -> turn off "Keep theme credit". GPL does not require keeping it.

* New: Header section in the Customizer, gathering the header options in one place.
* New: Header skin option - Light or Dark, which also adjusts the hairlines and the dropdown.
* New: Header background color, header text color and header height options.
* New: Optional header search - a reveal icon in the bar on desktop, and the search form inside the mobile menu.
* New: Optional header button (call-to-action) with text, link, open-in-new-tab and four styles. It shows at the end of the mobile menu on small screens.
* New: Menu typography control - face, size, weight, letter spacing and case in a single block.
