A fast, lightweight multipurpose WooCommerce theme for book shops, fashion boutiques and general online stores.

== Description ==

Shopvane is built for shops that live or die on how quickly a page appears on a
phone.

The whole theme is hand-written CSS and plain JavaScript. There is no CSS
framework, no jQuery dependency in the theme's own code, no icon font and no
page builder markup, so a product page ships a small amount of CSS and about
12 KB of script. The shop stylesheet is not even loaded on pages that cannot
render a product.

Everything a shop owner can change is a CSS custom property, which is what makes
the Customizer preview update instantly instead of reloading.

= What you can change without touching code =

* Colours, fonts, text sizes, content width, section spacing and corner radius
* Three header layouts, an optional top bar, sticky and transparent behaviour
* A homepage built from eleven sections you tick and drag into order: hero
slider, trust strip, category tiles, three product rows, editorial banner,
promo boxes, testimonials, latest posts and a newsletter strip
* Four product card styles - classic, editorial, minimal and overlay - plus
image shape, how images fill their frame, hover behaviour and which details
  each card shows
* The wording of every button and label, including Add to cart and Order now
* A mobile bottom bar, the way a shopping app works, with the items you choose

= Both editors, neither one required =

Pages work with the built-in WordPress editor and with Elementor. Shopvane
registers Elementor's theme locations, so with Elementor Pro you can replace
the header and footer too, and without Elementor nothing is missing.

The built-in editor is the faster of the two, so the theme ships block patterns
and block styles for the pages a shop actually needs, and four page templates:
Homepage, Full width, Landing page and Blank canvas.

= What this theme deliberately does not do =

No SEO settings, no analytics, no caching, no contact forms, no custom post
types. Those belong in plugins, so that changing theme never takes your content
or your search rankings with it. Appearance > Shopvane lists the plugins that
cover them; none are bundled and none install by themselves.

== Installation ==

1. Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme, choose the zip, then Activate.
2. Appearance > Shopvane walks through the four first steps.
3. Create a page, set Page Attributes > Template to "Homepage (Shopvane
sections)", then set it as the front page in Settings > Reading.
4. Customizer > Shopvane: Homepage to choose and order the sections.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Do I need WooCommerce? =

No. Without it Shopvane is a normal blog and pages theme, and every shop option
hides itself. Install WooCommerce and the shop settings appear.

= Does the theme load Google Fonts? =

Only if you switch it on. The default fonts are system fonts, which need no
download at all, so a new install makes no external request. Customizer >
Typography has the toggle and a list of web fonts if you want one.

= Why is my homepage showing my page content instead of the theme sections? =

The homepage sections only render on a page using the "Homepage (Shopvane
sections)" template. That is deliberate: if the theme replaced whatever you had
built on your front page just because it was the front page, a page you designed
in Elementor or the block editor would silently disappear.

= A homepage section is not showing. =

Sections hide themselves when they have nothing to show. The category tiles need
at least one product category other than the default one, and the "On sale" row
needs at least one product actually on sale.

= Can I change "Add to cart" or "Order now"? =

Customizer > Shopvane: Shop > Button & label text. Leave a field empty to keep
WooCommerce's own wording, which is already translated into your language.

= Is it right to left ready? =

Yes. The theme uses CSS logical properties throughout, so it needs no separate
RTL stylesheet.
